That intro reminds me of something my high school physics teacher would do. When the class was running some simulations on the computers, he had everyone mess around with the values for some variables, to observe the change in motion. Stuff like velocity, acceleration, basic mechanics stuff. After we finished, he would always ask the class who set the velocity/acceleration/whatever values to maximum. Every boy in the class raised their hand, including me. According to him, every year, all the boys would always do the same lol.
Recently got back into this game for the first time in near a decade, and found your channel. Been loving the content and science vids, they’re super helpful! Thanks for all the hard work!
This game brings me back to when I was playing this in the college dorms using the school's network to lan with 7 other friends. I always played UEF and would hide away in the corner of the map building my Mavor. When the other players learned that it was built they all allied against me and the game turned into tower defense. Good times
Yeah, in my experience mavor seems to nearly always beat salvation. I’ve also seen it beat paragon into salvation spam as well. Mavor to me is that hands down unquestioned winner, unlike my opinions about most units in the game regarding different factions, which is very situational (i play Cybran like 95% of the time) Mavor just seems so legit tho
First off, love that you're recording again, Duelist :) Recently coming back to the game as well, so it's nice to see fresh content from you. Hope life is going great! *** I wonder about the Shield Test - given that the shields were all stacked up next to each other. When I build T3 Arty or Game Enders I often run into scenarios that don't look like this - the shields are either heavily supported, and/or spread out. My concern, with this testing method, is that the shield "dome"s are all overlapping, so that "splash" damage from the artillery shell is damaging them too. In my game experience, I'll often knock down one shield, then there's a backup - and they're both assisted. By the time I get the other one down, the first shield is back up, etc etc. *** Otherwise, I agree with your ratings - the Aeon artillery piece is my favorite due primarily to it's rate of fire. It's just punishing, even assisted shields struggle to keep up!
Salvation is not as good as mavor/scathis imo, it is also not built as game ender, but rather after paragon. Thats why it has much lower build time, so it can be built quickly with infinite mass
@@justinficiu5193 The Salvation is like most of the other Aeon units, the more micro/APM you have, the better it can be used and the more value you get from it.
You spam the UEF T3 air transport (continental) and put them above (patrol) the spot the enemy artillery is shooting at and the continentals can/will end up taking hits your shields would have had to other wise.
Salvation is the worst one. Mavor is the best because it can kill other gsme enders quickly. Yolona oss just annihilates anything not pinned down by 8 smds lol
