I needed to hear this today! I have been working with a trainer since February and I took my progress pictures, and weighed in and saw no change which really discouraged me. It messed up my entire day because I didn't look how I felt and every time I lift, I feel strong and I'm getting stronger! So, hearing this helped a lot! Thank you, guys. You really have a huge impact on people's lives, including mine. Keep doing what you're doing!
I really needed to hear this today. I started working with a trainer following a strength training program. Finding the Mind Pump channel helped me finally change my mindset about chasing a number on the scale and instead focusing on strength and muscle/mobility gains. But i stepped on the scale this morning and let it mess with my head most of the day. My clothes are fitting better and people tell me how great I'm looking. I'm inspired once again to stay the course!! 💪🏾#TrustTheProcess
Needed to hear this today!. Have been on a body recomp for about 8 months have lost fat/ gained muscle and on the scale have only lost 10kg. Have been stuck on that number for months. Physically feel great and strong - have hit numerous PR’s with my lifts. I am down 2 clothing sizes. Recently I’ve started struggling with the number on the scale. So might start a mini cut just to see the number drop off 5kg and then restart a reverse diet..
10kg is a lot of weight!! Well done! Your body is probably still recomping. Keep it up! Sounds like you're doing a great job! I feel your pain with the scales though. It does mess with your mind

I love, love, love this! I needed this today. Really struggling with the number on the scale at the moment. I am feeling the best I have ever felt. I wanted to be at a point where I could eat sweet treats occasionally without bingeing, and I finally feel like I can do that now. Thinking about it, that was a nutrition goal of mine, so I am so happy to feel like I'm where I want to be in that regard. I think I am ready to cut now to reduce some body fat to see the muscles I have been working on building. I am so happy to hear that this lady didn't see any change on the scale for 3 months! That is a loooooong time, especially if you're overweight and want to see that number change!! Maybe I am being too impatient. I am only 5'1 and between 131-135 lbs. I have been strength training for a long time, but was doing cardio style workouts (low weight, high reps, very short rests in between sets). Then started listening to Mind Pump and started to change how I lift by progressively overloading I am loving anabolic, but I have only just started the pre-phase and really want to look leaner as I definitely have some body fat to lose. Recently, I have felt a bit discouraged as I haven't achieved my aesthetic goals at all yet, although I feel like my mid section is changing though and my underwear is definitely fitting differently. I'm not where I want to be yet but, after watching this, it seems that I just need to keep going and focus on the feelings not on the scales or mirror. Thanks guys for the great advice!
Wow! This is incredible. Kudos to the hubby for supporting and working through this with his wife. Do you guys know who to go to and what tests for hormones? O feel something is wrong. I have been working out for years had my doctor say my levels are normal but see maybe 5-7lb loss. I'm at wits end. Idk what else to do or try.
