@@a330flyguy2 the bolts too slow on the Enfield. The sights are too narrow. The p14 is used too much. There is no variety in uniforms for the British etc etc…
Heres a pro tip for when you want to use your airhead especially in a must make situation with time running out. Go to arty and dial in the shot directly on the airhead. Start shelling the airhead at its half way deployment time. Fire your last shot on the airhead when it lands. Then fire two smoke rounds to help hide the spawn ins. Your squads will almost always get the spawn in unless a tank camps it. I have won many games/strongpoints like that especially in must make cap situations to win the mid point.
The Lee Enfield, it was actually much quicker to reload than than the Kar 98, shorter bolt action - its a mistake in the modelling which hopefully will get fixed in the next update.
Yeah it's well known that the SMLE had a much slicker action than the K98, allowing for a higher rate of fire. It's a travesty that it's so slow and clunky in this game.
I was pretty let down by this update. The British had some pretty unique and different weapons during WW2 as their military tactics were different from that of the US Army. Seems like the devs have tried to make them play similar to the U.S but sadly they haven't done a great job imo. One example is that the Bren Gun replaced the Lewis as the main infantry support gun in the 1930s. Yes Lewis guns were still in service but only in reserve units mainly the Home Guard. The fact that the Bren Guns bipod isn't deployable frustrated me a bit. I would have also preferred the Churchill as the British heavy tank as that was actually in service for El Alamein unlike the Firefly which was mainly used post DDAY.
the shortness of the Enfield Mk III is nice that really helps in close engagements compared to the mosin or Kar while still being pretty good at distance still lacks the semi auto that i guess most people prefer, personally i've been waiting for this rifle a while now :) they did a good job on it to. plus the ten round capacity really helps
The weapon sway and sight picture on the British guns are rough, but the Enfield and Lanchester are decent weapons. I'm no gun person, but I actually saw someone post on reddit saying that if you're actually using a sight like the Bren one, the circle is actually transparent from the user's perspective due to the way depth of field works with the human eye (sight ring is close, target is far, causing ring to not be in focus/transparent).
@@canadianbakin1304 Yeah since video games give a feeling of 3 dimensions, but are only actually 2 dimensions cause of the computer screen, field of view and depth perception is really difficult. Like the M1 Garand in video games almost always has that large round open rear sight when that isn't how it is in real life at all. It's actually quite small because it's an aperture sight meant to focus one's eyesight to a further distance essentially giving the user a natural zoom
idk if it's changed since this video was made but i love the bullet velocity on the British guns, seems faster to me and was letting me hit really long range shots last week
@@commandercrane1945 yeah thats a tough feeling/position but also comes with a great self satisfaction/reward. knowing you can be a huge deciding factor on whether you and your team win matches is a good feeling. Also because of your skills you have a growing youtube channel where people respect your skill and learn from you. Huge W
great tip im not sure if you did or didnt but on the opening scene area or towards the end you killed a friendly with the bombing run id recommend making contact with all the other squad leads and let the team know that you are doing a bombing run :)
You see, IRL the rear sight is out of focus & if you shoot both eyes open there is NO sight obstruction. But when you're a developer who has never held or shot a gun....
I’ve played a couple hrs every day this past week and didn’t get put on a British squad once. I got this map once but was on the German side. Wtf do I have to do?!
Its funny how many people are complaining about a bolt action rifle. They are so used to just switching to american team and not dealing with one on the german team but now that theyre forced to play with one, its a problem lol. Cant just switch to americans and get free kills with the thompson or m1 garand so now its a problem
Most German players don't use the Kar98, so it is not balanced. It would be better if bolt actions were the only 1 shot kill or if they were always a 1shot kill, even at long distances... but they have the same stopping power as semi-autos. Long ago, bolt actions were good because they were always a 1 shot, regardless of distance.
This game has a lot of places where objects have occlusion where they should not, so you have to shoot a little more away from the object sometimes. I assume that is just what you get from indie games, it doesn't happen too often.
i wish 1900 hrs meant something but when they can 2 shot you at 250m with a m1c and i have to 2 shot them with a kar98.......devs are ruining this game quick
