Game against mineshaft was sad, white can't be passive in the nimzo larsen. He needed to take on d5 early and pile his pressure on the c file for counterplay and he closed the position and let Nelson take over.

Great stream. You were crushing it first half! You could tell you were just more relaxed and having fun. The queen for two pieces just seemed like a bridge too far at this level. 🙃 That last game I was celebrating your comeback victory then was like "wait, what????" You got robbed! Super exciting anyway! Thanks for the great content.

Actually I've been noticing the time problem since the first game in this video. This should have been a win. You seemed to have much more time than you had. But anyways, ggs.

At 1:14:42 in your 2nd game with iamprettyslow, I am thinking pinning the knight was the better choice. Then 1....Nxf3+ 2. gxf3 (forced because Nd2 forks the rooks) and the pawns are messed up in front of the King. Was there a good reason not to play this?

At 1:13:17, instead of getting 2 pieces for the queen, why not take the knight with the bishop instead, then QxR and then take the rook? That way, you get a knight and a rook for the queen (which is a little less bad).
@NewgenStar

Hi Nelson, I’ve got a challenge for you: play Martin but, your knights are gangster knights, which means, if your both knights get captured you lose and if you lose one of the knight you have to blunder your queen!! And if you think you can put your knight on a safe square, I’m sorry you can’t so you have to move your knight every 3 moves. And last but not the least, you have to checkmate with your knight or captures the opponent’s knights with your knights without getting captured, you can do anyone of these two you want. Hope you win. Good luck 😉. Please pick me, I’m commenting from like 2-4 weeks dude and I watch your all videos too literally wait for your videos I’m subscribed too please pick my challenge pleeeease.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@awekeningbro1207

depends on the ratings difference, with a catch. if you are higher rated than your opponent and you win, you will get a lot less point than your opponent if they were to win instead
