First few minutes of this video really shocking. How can ghazali call "LA ILAHA IL'LAL'LAAH" as kalma of common people and bring his new kalma instead? How dare he change it?

He argued that their views contradicted Islamic teachings and undermined religious faith.But it is important to recognize that the decline in scientific research was due to a combination of factors, including political instability, economic challenges, and changing cultural priorities.Scientific activity did not cease immediately after Al-Ghazali. Scholars like Ibn Rushd (Averroes) continued to engage in philosophical and scientific pursuits. So, Al-Ghazali's views on occasionalism and his critique of philosophy did shift the intellectual focus towards theology and mysticism, it is overly simplistic to say that they alone caused the decline of scientific inquiry in the Islamic world. P.S. You saying 'In Shaa Allah' at the end of the video is actually promoting Ghazali's occasionalism. Because if you are so sure about yourself and firm on your view of causality, why then depend upon Allah’s intervention???

Kya ye aqeedah Qur'an aur sunnat ke khilaf nhi hai???

Just one comment here that Thomas Aquinas only put forward one version of the contingency argument. al-Farabi and Ibn Sina had given their versions of the contingency argument way before that and arguably Ibn Sina's Burhan al-Siddiqin is the strongest version of them all.

You have not given answer to main question yet, according to you after imam Ghazali the scientific temperament in the muslim world went down yet we see many Muslim scientists after Ghazali namely, Al Nafis, Al Tusi, Al Shatir, Ulugh Beg, Omar Khayyam (yes he worked on Algerba apart from poetry), Ibn Rushd, etc. How did they managed to work if Muslims developed an anti scientific mindset? Also, Al Ghazali's own view on science, “As for the praiseworthy disciplines such as medicine and mathematics, they are associated with worldly benefit. And that category is divided into those that become a communal obligation and those that are of great merit but are not an obligation" Kindly don't deviate from topic.

Dead saint will take them to the bigotry & ignorance because there's no scientific communication system between living and dead. But living Leadership itself must follow secondary causality to have balance in world. Marvels, Cartoons, Movies, Games are not reality but it scares, controls and build spirit in children to grow them wisely.

Hello Miss.... I have written this for you after spending substantial amount of time kindly have a read.... Let me break it down for you miss, irrespective of what Qaiser Ahmed Raja said, the contention of Imam Ghazali for which he(ghazali) gave the example of cotton and fire was as follows, to understand that lets go beyond the cotton and fire's knowledge available at his time, the chemical reactions occur in nature due to certain fundamental tendencies of the atoms and energy, like when cotton touch the fire the that initiate a process of equalibrium in atom where it tent to have electrons in proportion that stables it, and when the atoms get stable at the given system, the reaction stops and the cotton become ashe, ghazali contended that these tendencies of atom are not necessities and can be in any other way but they are not, because God allowed them in that manner. He said "they call it a necessity because they have no proof beyond observation." The problem is when he says "it's not because of fire but by will of God" you reckon he denied the relationship between cotton and fire, but in reality he defined the relation, that it happens not because of necessity, It can happen in any other way but God allowed to be as it happens before our eyes. Now coming back to what Qaiser ahmed Raja said "ghazali ne essa kabhi nhi kaha ki rui nhi jalegi" he was referring to views of ghazali on general conduct of fire on cotton, and that doesn't negate his initial position that fire won't "necessarily" burn cotton if come in contact. Miss you showed the video in the thumbnail is different then you reacted. In fact the video you showed in thumbnail clarify problem you presented. The video uploaded by QAR on the response to your video was "Defending Ghazali | A Response to @uzmarumi256" on 27 April 2024, he never called you "Desi secular" or "don't get into contingency argument", you reacted different video, he was very respectful to you.... Hopefully you came this far..... Now the video he created in you response, he said in that video at 3:25 "Ghazali is not deny causality rather provided a framework for it, for its true nature.....neither fire decides that it will burn not cotton decided that it will get brunt, then these are contingent things and there is something other nessecery existence that give base to this causation." What he is trying to say is as I define above 'the fundamental tendency of energy atom is get stable, these principles are there not because of its existence it's because of God that ordered those principles to 'be'. Great that you schooled Qaiser Raja but the contingency argument and explaineation of god as necessary being was first presented by ibn E Sina who got the idea from Aristotle's primary mover. The idea was further elaborated by thomas aquinas mamy years later
