The Magical Kingdom of Klyrode summons hundreds of heroes from other worlds every year to fight in their war against the Dark One and his army of powerful demons. This is how it should be. I get tired of MCs always thinking, "This is my decision. I need to make the person I care for leave before they get hurt." Then we have another arc of that person getting into trouble regardless of the MC's "good" intentions, and so the MC has to go and save them anyways. It's always best to have a conversation like this and let the other person choose rather than be arrogant to make the choice for them.

If only Kazuma could tell Megumin and Darkness that he got isekai'd and was brought to their world, I would've loved to see their reactions. I expect Megumin and Darkness would laugh at how he died like Aqua did in the first episode.

Yeah. They wouldn't believe him. They didn't believe it when Aqua said she was a goddess (which is a running gag so prominent that it's a trait for "god/goddess" characters in the Konosuba TRPG that nobody believes that they are one).

I thought I recognized the voice so I had to look it up to be sure. It's the queen of tsuderes, Kugimiya Rie. I usually don't track VA's much but it's been awhile since I heard this voice and it's pretty distinctive.

She is, yeah. Like Taiga from Toradora, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, Louise from Zero no Tsukaima.... and then she was also Kiana in Honkai Impact 3rd, which is why I am lowkey waiting for that character to yell "mei-senpai". Same hair- and eyecolor too.

And the male is voiced by Satoshi Hino, who’s known for co-starring alongside Kugimiya-san in many famous anime, such as Shakugan No Shana and Familiar Of Zero(the latter which is one of the earliest light novel Isekais)!😄😏😎

I think its the first time in an isekai we actualy see the MC talk about it, the only one that people know about it were mostly the one when the MC is summoned directly to be some kind of hero. But even then most of the time people are clueless about it nor it doesnt affect much the story anyway, writters realy lack of creativity and ambition in their stories
