How to block damage? Simple here are few options: 1) research and buy Obj. 268 v4 and faceroll anything in front of you. 2) research and buy Obj. 257 and show enemies your side completely unangled, 1/10 shot pens. 3) buy Defender (aka Obj. 252 U) and laugh at T8 and lower.
I've actually done the forcing the enemy to shoot tactic, but when they were experienced enough to not be baited but kept targeting me, I kept threatening to keep them from turning towards my teammates, which ended up winning us the battle in the end. The tier III BT-7 is so much fun!
I know right.. we never test the modern American tanks in wars.. hmmm.. yet I know that the Sherman tanks in world war two was sux.. hmmm.. Every type 5 player has to be very good at the game cuz they always dmg me even when I m hulldown. they have to know every weekspot on each tank. for sure
How to block damage, easy, just follow the steps above. Unless the enemy presses 2( which they do all the time) which then all you need to do is spam gold back at them and buy more premium tanks as WG will then rig the RNG in your favour
This further shows how disconnected the developers are from what is actually going in their game. This video is Outdated by 3-4 years. This is how you USED to play back in the day, when the game had actual balance. Now good luck sidecraping when they shoot heat at you, or rush with 4-5 tanks in 2-3 min battles which are a norm now.
Please, give there some information about using view range and camo values. And how to use properly circles on a map. I will send it to every 'sniper' who asks me to run to 'spot' to enemies' base in the beginning of a battle.
I love how they decided to "forget" about the object 257, T22 and object 907. They don't have a U shape hull, they have a damn V shape hull, what do you do with that? Why didn't they explain why it is so hard to penetrate in details like they did with e100? Well, WG just conveniently remained silent about them... Even they know how broken those tanks are.
And then there are tanks that shoot HESH / HE. And what about overmatch mechanics? And the drawbacks of shooting HEAT (spaced armour) and APCR (big angles). And that most of these tricks won't work when someone is shooting premium ammo.
You do all of this and then a wild FV4005 with 183 mm HESH round hits you and armor instantly stops working! Could have said any derp gun, but I that is one of the best examples! :)
can block anything as long as their is a #2 key with premium ammo that negates armor, then u have the HE. but naturally War gaming decided that doesn't count, which is idiotic.. sheesh

Man, what great graphics! But, whats with the 'Arcade' like play of the game? No to be too obvious, but this is sort of like putting lipstick on a pig! If all you want is a game with great graphics, this is it! But if you are looking for realistic movement, deployment and tactical applications, forget it. Is there a 'realism' setting on this game? I've watched 'gamers' commentary video's on the game play. The 'kids' apparently think this how tactical warfare is conducted. I really like it when tanks take off like sportcars and jump up like a dirt bike! The level of coordination, apparently, between units is instantaneous or unneccesary! Really? But, it is enteraining, eh?
