My biggest mistake was pressing the battle button in the garage

Players don't rush to the good positions because they've been so badly trolled by RNG in the previous 10 games they want to try and last more than 30 seconds on the battlefield

Enemy WZ-111 and AMX 13 actually played really well. 6k dmg in a losing team and just 600 xp ... that's stupid :D

Biggest mistake players do, is checking someone's stats just to whisper them something stupid after game...

First mistake, rushing too fast to first location- all enemy will hit the first person that is visible very hard. Game over in 60 seconds. Second mistake, too much poking. If you poke and get hit don't poke again! the enemy is still looking at your position,you will get hit again and again. Third mistake, having a full HP bar and fighting an experienced player that is only 1 shot. If you can, use your health pool as a buffer, you can take 1 or 2 hits and then kill the enemy. Fourth mistake, seeing an ally player commit and go in, while you hang back,if it's safe to do,follow your ally into combat, both of you can secure the kill. Don't just watch them die 1 by 1.

A while back I started playing a lot of TDs. This helped me realize that my positioning should not necessarily benefit me but rather give a disadvantage to the enemy. I should consider my teammates in my position, and since then, my recent win % is > 52%. That's pretty good for someone trying to climb out of the 42% pit small child me made.

You can reach good position early, the rest usually depends on wether your team does the same or not...

Knowing where to go, knowing when to push, knowing when to retreat, knowing when wait, knowing when to shoot, knowing which tank to shoot first, knowing how to move across the map to expose yourself the least, knowing weak spots . These are the basic things to getting better. The next step is being able to anticipate what the enemy will do, that is what make the best players.

Hi Quickybaby, Every second shot of damage that my T-10 receives leads to a dead driver, a damaged ammo rack or a direct blow up of the ammo rack. That's the default behaviour of a T-10. Yours is not showing this behaviour, so i guess it must have a serious malfunction. 🔧 Kind Regards, Oliver

The funny thing is your advice can be used in the real world. Peoples bad situations that they are in more times than not, are from bad choices they have made.

The 777 II was trying to get damage in before the feeding frenzy left him with nothing. Each of the 15 members of your team has a different objective in mind based on where they are with missions, campaigns and grinding. He wasn't working towards your goal, but he was progressing towards his, which sums up the game precisely. We're all supposed to cooperate and do our own thing at the same time.

Maybe taht 777 II made it on purpose because WG doesnt reward sh!t for teamplay and he wanted to snack all the damage..

The T-10 might just be my favorite tank in the game. I was able to get 100% damage standing. It's just such a fun tank for me

QB, Easy to call them bad players when you are sitting in Russian T10, probably with tons of crew skills and using premium ammo. This game is toxic for less experienced players, not only do they have disadvantages of game play and map knowledge but also crew skills. Additionally, All premium tank bots running around nowadays can cause you to win 1 out of 10 games even though you perform quite well so win ratio for most players does not say anything anymore. WG is playing tricks with MM.

Most of my dumb plays lately have been for a mission, trying to get a ramming kill in a heavy has resulted in a lot of blocking angles for team mates, not getting the kill, and dying to their support. Trying to learn all the maps and roles has resulted in a lot of bad deaths too, but hopefully learn and get better from those.

Serious critique here. By marking out things bad players do, as a 65%+ win rate player, you have no real place to say what is a "bad" player. You can't also tell whether someone is bad based on sub 50% win rate. I have a 48ish % win rate, because I never cared, I love tanks, so I played not caring. I'm really good at the game at times, but I usually get a bad team, or a great, well coordinated enemy team, or I just have a bad time. I'm tired of people determining whether someone is bad or not, based on win rate. You weren't there to see them grow, or fail. You don't what they're doing. Don't let us forget how many gold rounds you use, or how much you've spent on the game. Keep that in mind.

Honestly, I'd like to think I've improved at this game significantly, I took a whole year hiatus cause i was so trash and was frustrated spinning my wheels, never getting any better. Since I picked it back up, my total average win rate still hasn't improved much overall, but it has over the last 6 months or so. I can definitely say I have improved for sure rather than just luck or carries by my team, because my average damage, and average xp earned have been on a constant uphill. It was all from watching your videos, your livestreams, and picking up your tips and tricks.

The advice about taking game winning positions at the start of the game applies to more than WoT. People in all sorts of games are too passive.

In my 9 year experience, the biggest mistake bad players make is not knowing how maps are played, they play the same maps 99999 times yet they never learn what flank is the one that matters most. Maps usually consist of three flanks, the important one that if you win you’ll have most of the map control, the one that you just needed defenses with like 3 tanks, and the one you should always avoid until the end when you need to use it as an option to flank. I really hope a lot of bad players see this comment and take it in to consideration. And remember.. LIVE! The biggest help you can give to good players is survive, give time to good players to carry you.

I can confirm that bad players (I was a complete noob, now I'm 48% win rate, I know not the best), that we make all of these mistakes all the time. The thing that hinders them from getting better, is that they blame their team or the pay to win enemies for their own mistakes, so they never learn.

Winning in WoT requires three things. 1. Knowing what your tank can do. 2. Knowing what the enemy tanks can do. 3. Knowing the map. To point three. If you know how to take valuable terrain early you will help your team win.

I call this B.S!. Reason a lot of Players can't reach their Goals is....Players have gotten selfish in their playing. Refusal to support their teammates. So not to get a scratch on their own Tank. The Game were once a (TEAM) Game. That no longer applies.

I don't have the memory for all the armor and gun details but I can work on situational awareness. I tend to run into traps way too often. Usually in frustration that my team isn't doing anything so I tried to get it kick started. Usually with my life.

I stopped using gold ammo and consumables and it actually made my credit increase a lot. It also made my games faster and shorter. Not a bad thing

I have watched a lot of youre videos and one of the main reasons, you do well (apart from being a good player) You - get in a lot of games with other good players or team mates who move, work with you and want to play the game. Me - 4/5 games in a row where I did 2k plus damage and killed at least 2 tanks and lost because players sat and camped, and would not work with me or anyone else, and don't want to play the game.

Most of the problems are not those 49% players that are at least trying but rather the huge swarms of obviously botted 42-45% accounts clogging up the teams especially on the weekends and events.

Love the game…. Good advice…. if people would just ask themselves every time, “Why did I die?” And “how can I prevent that from happening next time” they would see a steady improvement in their play…

Basic mistakes I did a lot: 1. Play with 75% crews, stock gun, stock engine, etc 2. Lose DPM by aiming all shots 3. Don't p_ay OP tier 8-10 4. Don't buy food, directives, bond rammer 5. Don't dial 22 6. Don't switch game after 30+ fully aimed shots missed on static target with 0.3 dispersion in a single game

Sorry QB, so if a player has a 49% win rate he or she is a bad player? MM is not often on our side. Very often I play in teams with an average ranking of 5000 against teams with an average of 6000 rankings. The best way to make it better for bad players like me is to give all players above 7000 ranking their own MM, look what happens then.

A lot of times its just other people on my team being toxic to one another that discourages people and makes them play worse. I had a round where I was playing in a bt7, spotting the enemy team, doing my job and some t48 on my team reported me because he died, and was being toxic, and it made me play worse for a few Runde thinking about it:

Step 1: If you want to actually win, don't bother with any tank that's not meta Step 2: If you think your pub teammates will help you, they won't Step 3: If you find your getting penned by gold, press 2. The whole "quit spamming gold" crowd is hilarious. If you can't beat them... Step 4: If your tired of 15-0 games, Uninstall. its not going to change and any suggestions of balanced MM will just get you $hit on by the community Step 5: If you find yourself in a game and the enemy has 3 ebrs and you don't, alt tab and rub one out. Its the Champaign of defeat Step 6: If you run xvm and you find yourself on a team of reds and the enemy team is a sea of green, blue and purple, see Step 5

Man, I play on the Asia server. They seriously don’t play like this. They don’t play aggressive this way, it’s all about camping, there’s times where you have to wait 5 minutes or more and no shots are fired… because everyone is hiding behind a bush and a dwelling/rock. And they don’t really respond with the Help and comms

I think the biggest mistake is calling T-10/IS-8 a heavy tank. Gun rammer, turbo and optics. If You get mm with tier 7 tanks, You simply get good early game position and You won already. In my opinion this is one of the best tier 9 tanks in it's tier. You have quite big dps, so You can trade with most of the tanks. You have great mobility, so most of mediums cant run away from You easly. You have decent armour, so You can still survive a lot of shots. Aiming time is bad, but in hull down position Your turret armour gives You time to aim. You also have good AP penetrationa nd awesome HEAT penetration, so even facing tier 10's You can do a lot of dmg and yet dont have to use premium content to afford it. It's like Obj. 430 on steroids

Clawed my way to 800 WN8 and 47.86% win rate...can be frustrating because I don't take premium ammo. Trial and error over 6000 games. So far I'm loving the quick intraclip autoloaders like the Skoda T25 and the T69 :)

Any time I rush the dip like QB did, no one follows me and I get absolutely creamed. Isn't it wrong to make aggressive plays if no one is going to follow?

The biggest mistake is to play again the same vehicle in the same week after RNG said yes to you . You will have so many missed or vanished shots followed by nonpenetrations in the next 10 games you wouldn't believe .

That advice with taking the aggressive positions at the start of the battle is my problem. I think I'm too passive. My other problem though is that i only know the good position to take on certain maps.

does it really matter that noobs make mistakes? when RNG can make the perfect calculated play by an experienced pro completely irrelevant if all your shots miss/bounce/ricochet and low roll while the completely outplayed noob can just put in multiple shots for free and all of which high roll and crit you.

Want an avg exp boost? -Max your view range. It will give you and your team mates more things to shoot over time.

I have tried or seen these things tried on several maps. But when both teams want the same spot on the map, your team can end up loosing several tanks very early. How do you deal with things like that?

The main keys to success and maybe not in this order: Knowing the map, knowing your own capabilities and weakness, knowing the enemy capabilities and weakness, and knowing the enemies thinking. It is not only about recognizing the tank, but also how upgraded it is or how damaged. Knowing your enemy's thoughts can never be mastered 100%, but there will be some indicators. Very few people master it all, and out of those who does, not all of them are good at aiming or steering, which is amongst the secondary keys to winning. Oh I forgot about being able to fight as a team. All the same knowledge about your allies and the ability to communicate with them in some positive way. Saying stuff like "AMX u noob", does not help you or your team, it actually helps the enemy team.

Yeah rush to good positions. I do that and 5 enemy players rush in same place too, and my team just sits in base. Some times its 15 loses in row...

I have slight distaste for the label bad player. I play here and there, not ten hours a day. After five years, a year of which was arty oriented, I am now playing heavies. So I suck. I have to accept that to continue to improve. If people are so much better, why don't THEY step up their game? Such confidence and yet they blame a "bad player" for a loss. This is a negative for new players. Who are also called bad and are told to uninstall. A war vet from time to time will ask me to buddy up. My trying is all they need to pull out a win. A good player should too. A label of bad players is a negative on everyone, building division and bickering. And it will be hard to uproot as time makes this worse. IMO. It is more useful to tell a worse player what they did was stupid and why, rather than telling them to just give up. Are they bad? They want good that's a guarantee!!! How is that bad?!?!?! Encourage them instead by displaying when they do Numbskull actions. Those that want to do better will swallow that more and who knows? A great platoon could eventually develop. You never know. Being harsh to a noob is military like like boot camp. YOU are their bootcamp. Make it count. You want good helpers in the future. Pushing someone to give up because you play more hours is also numbskull towards yourself. Bad player? A bad player is someone who sabotages the team by pushing a teammate over an edge into the drink. How are the two the same? This is players psychologically destroying each other. And this is is why labelling the less experienced players as bad inside your heads is destructive to everyone. Furthermore, if you get bitter because there is a noon in your midst, who is the really bad player, it YOU decide to tantrum and MAKE the team suffer because you are upset at a supposed "bad" noob, who tried but meanwhile you decide to wreck the game because u grump. No, that names YOU the bad player if you decide to tantrum instead of cope. Cheers.

Nice video. Watching this video make me realize something important. We're basically paying War Gaming to be their farmers. Everyday we farm for credits, xp and paying for their long line of premium tanks with our money. We did this because we want gratification, similar to the feeling when we enter a candy store as a kid. In order to get the candy, we have to go though heart breaking trials and errors to become what we're today [Groundhog day]. Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell, whereby the cynical jerk of a weatherman covering the annual Groundhog Day celebration in Pennsylvania gets trapped in a time loop, and is forced to live February 2 over and over until he finally learns love, compassion and empathy.

This boils down to "if you want to be a good player, play better".

Well, there is a thing I totally get frustrated about. Me and my friend go to the same position, do the same things. I die in seconds and he survives with great results. WTF?! It doesn't matter where I go, I always seem to be the free frag for everyone :( On this map, I also rushed to the dip... guess what happened a few seconds later.

That first position you took is the first position I take when I’m in a fast and hard hitting tank, but none of my team are in there with me and there’s just one other guy behind me supporting me, while the rest are on the tracks getting farmed by the enemy TDs

the biggest mistake most bad players make , is not supporting your team and keep a eye on each other, for example a wolvepack is only possible if you move together to where the "good players"probably will go together sinds xvm colours shows how "good (you depend on your mods)" are, you can see when someone knows he is spotted, they hide and exactly move when the countdown of the spot mod is over and they move, the mod tells when they are disapeared from enemy map, thats not rly skill

Idk this just seems like a good rng match by an experienced player, you should have used a new player's video or a less experienced and go off with that. I played this map many times and always had bad rng, missing hits at the same range as you in T30 as well as people penetrating through the gun mantle with gold. My experience on NA: everyone spamms prammo and rushes one direction.

A grown-up would use words like ”beginner” or ”less experienced” rather than ”bad”.

Not so much a 'mistakes bad players make' as 'showing off how much I know about game mechanics and complicated calculations about ammo choices'.

The biggest mistake was playing that POS game to begin with! Imagine, an open field in front of you, wind whispering through the grass, not a tree or building in sight then BAM!! you get killed by that tank that is out in the open 30 feet in front of you that you could not see (spot)

My biggest mistake was watching this video. This shows QB is not a good teamplayer to have in your team. He survived and could have saved a lot of his teammates. I loved watching his stream. I learned a lot on how to play tanks. But pls QB, come back to us like you were. Nowadays you blame everyone, even enemy teams, that they are bad players in the way they play. Stop that pls and be my hero again.

basically the team that loses the first tank usually loses as the game starts to maker the team armor weaker and the other team armor stronger, and the camo fails to revel the opposing teams position. basically the game wants to finish quickly to start a new game. yeah it's BS.

Often "bad players" biggest mistake, is that they don't participate in the battle. You gun present on a flank does matter. Driving to the first bush or rock once the battle starts is likely making your team lose.

Sadly I turn chat off because some players are really rude and the experience of being on the end of a rant can spoil an entire session- it’s easier to just ignore everyone- and guess what- my win rate is above 50%.

I'm stuck at 48% on WoT Console and it will never change no matter what.
