by the way, you can use ghost belle on ostinato, because the effect in the end phase is in the same sentence.

After scavenging my piles, I realized that I have 2 Ostinatos haha! I am just missing 1 more and my Melodious side engine is complete.

I use this in my chimera deck and I set up a i:p into s:p plus etoile and an abyss dweller with it and if i have nightmare apprentice Chaos angel too

We get cool support for an extremely underrated archetype, they get used to NOT play said archetype, then they get hit on the banlist 😂😂

Honestly... if they just ban appo then melodious as a splash engine gets hit. No need for them to hit ostinato tbh. Other decks are just using melodious to get to appo without the normal summon so without appo not too much reason to roll the engine and i see it dropping out of snake eyes as kash is way stronger support to se anyways.

Melodious is pretty much shit back then. With their new supports, they have consistency within their own archetype to function fast and keep up somewhat with new decks or archetypes that are way way faster. Since I don't play competitively, I have my own bias about it that competitive players abuse it too much to the point it'll get the ban hammer which will kill it off now that it got its pace. Its pretty annoying for me to see it get used outside its archetype and be used digustingly. Yeah, that's just my bias about it. YGO nowadays is turning into a 1 player game. The interactions you'll get from other player is their same hand traps to stop your combo. Also no uniqueness since every player have similar or identical deck & usage. I'd say thats toxic.

I hate this as an engine. Melodious got very good support and bad card design will get Ostinato banned or limited and Melodious will suffer... Bacha as a new card should lock into Melodious only and the engine wouldn't be a thing. As a Melodious player I hope that the engine will fade away before it'll be hit

Melodious is really not the best engine even snake eyes is just as good if not better so this engine is second best plus People are probably going to use a couple of Bystials to counter it

Actually insane how sheep are pretending the Melodious core are good with the massive influx of deck profiles and showcases involving them. As a Melodious enthusiast who tried to make them work since 2016, and don’t get me wrong, Melodious were underwhelming as an anime archetype within the competitive scene, but the potential was always there for them to be good. Ostinato was Branded Fusion before Branded Fusion became Branded Fusion. I used to always mix and match Melodjous with other fusion based decks like Heroes, Fluffals, Branded, Shaddolls to decently good success in 20-22 player locals. The new support merely gave the Melodious core a backbone and harnessed the potential that had always been there. Melodious before Legacy of Destruction was not too dissimilar to Horus. Underwhelming as a pure build, but the engine can be really effective in the right decks. Also, if they didn’t hit Branded when Branded was at their optimum, NO CHANCE Melodious gets hit. Would be extremely pi55ed off as a Melodious player of 8 years if they did.
