September is more busy than usual for me this year, and this video took a lot of testing in Op.Siren/Chapter 13. A new Ultra Rare ship is coming soon and we will most likely get another new UR by the end of this year. Not sure if this is a good sign or a bad sign...

Jean, Richelieu and Perseus simply solo the entire Operation Siren on auto, besides when we are talking about the bosses from fortresses and abyssal. Their pre load just destroy stuff too fast.

I do something similar. I run Richelieu, Perseus, and Cheshire as my main 3 and then have been switching around the others as I throw them in for exp or for META ship skill grinding. Currently running Richelieu, Perseus, Aquila (leveling), Cheshire, Jean D'Arc (leveling), and Saint Louis (leveling). Have no issues auto-ing everything other than bosses and fortresses.

Hakuryuu has reload problem even at dev 25. I would say sticking to shoukaku until Hakuryuu reaches dev 30. Also, my agir just reach dev 25 yesterday with over 8100 hp and 50 plus EVA, which is just ridiculous lol

Yeah, Ägir is a beast. I work on her aswell. She is Dev20 and if I could have Traded every damn Hakuryuu BP for her she would be 25 or more aswell. Gonna have to do without her until then.

Gonna grind some exp on the upcoming event. This video helps me realize which ship should I prioritize on leveling. Most of my ships are sitting on Lvl 100, I'm so confused. Thank you as always! Good Luck to everyone pulling for Shimakaze.

For me running Bismarck was ALWAYS worth it. She has so good buffs and it feels nice to have her leading a fleet over and over again to victory whatever the enemy. :P

@@satannstuff Has good HP, has ncie buffs to increase dmg, reduce dmg of your fleet. Good in PVE as well. She is a great Iron Blood flagship. Just needs better outfits! I want L2D. XD

I smell a QE retrofit in the near future because of the new anime, that will boost HMS fleet to top tier. A strong flagship is all that they're missing to be able to tackle any content.

Why snorkel on U37? Unlike other U-boats she has enough oxygen to fire all 24 bidders so oxytorp should be a better option?

due to the firing angle and sub movement, torps can get stuck due to no target in line of sight and cause delay when firing. When this happens, no oxygen gear means you might lose a few torps on the second round. Without oxy gear u37 just barely has enough oxygen to fire 2 rounds of bidder so it is safer to run extra oxygen. (This is dependent on the amount of RLD you have on meowficer, for a guide I'm not gonna assume everyone got +12 RLD on their meowficers)

Can you make a guide to do aircraft strike timings? I know there is an online calculator but it confused the hell out of me when I tried it. Perhaps walk us through how to reach your timings for Souryuu?

i personally run 1 battleship 2 carrier fraction fleets, being these USS: NJ, Essex, Saratoga HMS: Warsprite: Ark Royal, Perseus IJN: Nagato, Shinano, Hakuryuu KMS: Bismark, A.V.P, Graf Zeppelin

Keeping a full cv backline hidden is very important, so curlew retrofit is a better choice than kazagumo. Sure, kazagumo deals more dmg and can benefit from IJN buff, but using her means you may have to use another anti air vanguard. Using curlew retrofit, however, not only can provide air strike buff, but also solve the anti air problem and keep backline cv hidden.

None of this changes how Strasser's time stop is inconsistent at best and counterproductive at worst, screwing up timings while providing a near non-existent slow. It's easier and similarly effective to use Graf instead, especially for situation when you need the 15% damage reduction.

I would rather use Graf instead as well, given that she has 15% damage reduction which is very useful for tough bosses since they can hit hard.(Not to mention in terms of damage she won't fall behind much)

How can Strasser be counter productive overall. In the rare scenarios where a constantly moving enemy gets stopped by her while moving towards torps, a non-slowing CV would be missing way more against said mobile enemy.

If you select one of your carriers and go to her gear tab, the game will show you the launch speeds. As an example, my Centaur shows FR 20.56s/wave. So at 20.56 seconds into the fight, she'll launch a strike. 20.56 seconds after that will be her second, and so on. As you equip different planes with different speeds those times will adjust so don't be afraid to experiment.

Heyo ! Thanks for the guide ! For the Eagle union carrier fleet, is PoW a huge upgrade over another strong EU carrier, e.g. Essex ? Given as Essex buffs herself with the presence of Enty and Independance, this fleet should be able to hit bosses, right ?

Additional salvos from the bonus oxygen are worth more than the bonus gained from the Torpedo stat.

If they ever make a QE retro I think HMS has enough tools to compete as the best jack of all trades faction they can almost do anything but salvo preloads. I Have gone to w13 mob clearing with QE Centaur Illustrius and dido sirius Hermione. IT is solid i wish my favorite factions was a bit better. My 1st pvp fleet was hms I still use them to dis day got every hms ship in 120.

I wonder, are you showing the gear that works most optimally for the ship itself or altogether in the fleet? I ask mainly about Helenas' main guns in first fleet (I guess AOA?) and Mainz and Roon's torpedos in Iron Blood Fleet. How are golden torps better than the rainbow ones, or are you just showing who has bigger priority for them?

Little to no exp is still exp tough. The main advantage of opsi for exp farm is it's cost 0 oil. So you can farm almost as much as you wants

Question about 4:40: does this time include Homing Beacon's -4% loading time buff or not? It's not applied to the reload time in the equipment screen when equipped, only when the actual fight begins like other buffs, example Nagato's

no the time shown is the number you see on equipment screen, and don't use homing beacon for souryuu meta with the 3 airstrike setup. Things like Nagato buff and homing beacon are not shown in equipment screen so be careful when time adjusting

Some days ago i tried to get the 3rd star on 13-4 I used Pizza Main Fleet + Perseus vanguard still trying to remember who used besides Ducca + Seattle I cleared the "defeat all enemies" with almost full hp on this fleet, i never felt so proud when i realize only Taihou fight was the only one left

Why the snorkel on U-37? Afaik her base stats are enough to let her fire 24 torps (like the other two with snorkel) so giving her a rainbow torp would probably benefit her more, wouldn't it?

Beautifully put together. A question, since i have no idea how to calculate fleet dps: How much worse is bismark-odin-fdg backline damage wise compared to the top tier bb fleet? (suppose both bfleets go with a frontline helena) If you do not want to bother finding out, can you elaborate how you calculate all of this or point me to resources i can use? Essentially, i want to have a comparison to see how much better/worse my fleet is. as my odin regularly sits neck to neck damage wise with my FDG in the Souryuu and before in the helena fight.

The math is pretty easy once you sit down and do it. Just look up combat on the wiki and it'll give you the damage equations

All the numbers are in the wiki so you can setup a spreadsheet and calculate it. Assuming no overkill/timing issue, purely based on DPS, KMS fleet is about 15-20% behind top BB fleet depending on armor match up. It is definitely good enough to be used because the current contents in Azurlane are not that hard.

Don't forget to use Casablanca OR Independence (Retrofit) as the not-in-battle support fleet for your carrier fleets for their Supporting Wings skill: Increase AVI and RLD by 3.5% (8%) for all CVs and CVLs in each fleet this ship is NOT in. The RLD buffs help with Speed Adjusting! Edit: the skills don't stack, so if you're using inde in the main fleet casa will NOT provide a buff

im actually trying to build a EU carrier fleet myself, but since im going EU supremacy, i went with essex instead of pow. for the vanguard, i went with anchorage instead of san fran, but im sure they both the same tankiness? correct me if im wrong. also the one i did was for bossing, enty and essex with ryusei, and indep kai with swordfish.

she is a generic survival support, her damage output is insignificant and using her in french fleet or not doesn't make much difference.

Well crud, missing a good number of ships on the list, I didn't even know there was a UR CV from IJN that I missed entirely. Though I was pretty lucking pulling NJ and Shimakaze. I'm also completely wrong on all my armaments apparently, never seen most of these, also I haven't figured out the the crafting stuff yet via Gear Lab. Here I thought I was safe running Tirpitz, Bismarck, Graf Zep, Ayanami, Belfast and Roon as my primary fleet. Now its like wtf lol.

Why do your carriers so much dmg? I dont get it, my carriers are all lvl 120 too, but the dmg my carriers deal is ridiculous compared to the dmg of your fleet. Do you run +13 on every slot or what is going on?

Well torpedo DDs that fires torps during AoA scales with % of their torp stat (usualy around 80%) so with torp changes (not sure if they also affect AoA torps) the might become better now.

on stream they did show all out for Shima ... and it does look rather nasty tons of shells, slash and 2 x 5 torps. I expect Yuudachi will have her all out reworked as UR too but who knows.

It depends on the armor type. Which one? Mobs are mostly Light, then medium and rarely heavy armor.

georgia is pulling out more damage then FDG. As i'm using georgia, FDG and jersery in my meta fleet, guild operation fleet and boss fleet in Siren strong hold. Thanks to the free UR gun from proto type shop I'm now having 3x of them. Changing out duke for georgia would be more damage in the end of it + as georgia with her own gun + jersery together does normal 20-80k more damage then FDG does.

The reason you want to be running Duke is because of the skill Trepidation of Destruction which has the following effect: "Increase the damage dealt for this ship's first main gun salvo each battle by 20% (50%). Enemies hit by this ship's main gun take 3% (12%) more damage for 8s." The last part is the important part. Can go full IB CV Graff Zepp after buff is pretty solid but her buff is for survival only . She benefits from Strasser 10% increased reload... so there is merit in that , because on personal level she will outdps Bismarck. Also actually prefering EU sub fleet , VERY consistent and doesn't lag in damage much at all. Also not to underestimate super high durability of EU subs (also Cavalla provides 15% damage reduction on top of more HP and oxygen) - easier to launch more torps than IB fleet due to oxygen difference (even if no RLD buff). Nautilus too weird and may die in hard content so Albacore is my last spot.

Ok the fleet here is a single target fleet for iornblod. This fleet is bad outside of that it can work but is bad. You really want to run bismarck zeppelin then normally Odin for the third ship (the third changes depending on what your doing). With a vanguard that includes leipzig and two of the german cruisers that fit what your doing the most

nah i have zepp at 120 and tried, she is not a great choice. IB vanguards are so tanky they can survive multiple elite battles without healing. Survivability is not an issue there. Bismarck gives a pretty big damage boost to the entire team so she is much much better.

@@Just3c what are you giving your zeppelin because she wants a bf-109g and duble dive. (You will only ever use a wyvern in her flex slot or else you lose a lot of damage) And she's ok at single target but by far prefers clear.

They did announce rework of EXP (no details) so maybe it'll make it easier? I would like something like if ships max level then the EXP they gain is diverted to the ship in fleet that is still not max.

As someone who has been here since day 1, with a 100% collection, the issue that me and other veterans have is the fact that there are still good ships being constantly released that we want to play with or incorporate into existing fleets... and leveling a ship from 1 to 120 is an absolute bundle of pain. It requires something like 2 million exp to just go from 115 to 120. Its even worse when you realize that on JP and EN servers, we actually *require* more exp per level than CN does.

@@azurblueknights Exactly, it takes an whopping 4,325,675 EXP to Level an Normal Ship to 120 and 5,087,000 for UR/DR ships, it's crazy. CN is 4,205,000 for Normal ships to reach 120, idk why though. Yea I want to work on ships that I still have to finish but then they release more ships that I have to work on as well thus it takes forever me to finally use them because I still have to Skill Level them tp 10 but the problem is getting their levels up.

Getting the ships is easy, but getting the gear is a whole different ball game. I literally have next to none of the gear this guy is running, and I've been playing since December, 2018 lol. The lab gear is *really* hard to farm because RNG is involved. I just play OS for the META ships and stop playing once I have max limit broken them.

9:05 can you please explain that to me? why are bidders better on top/bottom? the salvo goes straight forward, so with the limited maneuverability of the bidders, wouldnt it be statistically best to place them in the middle, while the homing G7's from top/bottom can still target everywhere?

Thing is, I'm not too sure that the destroyer buff is going to be all that impactful. Destroyers are in a bad spot right now because evasion has a cap, and enemies in OpSi have really high hit values. So even if you can get a DD near the evasion cap, it doesn't matter because OpSi enemies can have such high hit, and DDs don't have the health to be taking hits. So giving gunboats more All-Out Assault activations and torpbotes better torpedo launches isn't going to solve the underlying issues. The only "buff" that might be decent is the one that gives more stats from auxiliary equipment, but since the DDs who get that are probably the tanky and support DDs, its not really going to shake up the meta in the slightest.

Roon U is slightly better. Before the best pure Iron Blood vanguard was Roon U, Mainz/Leipzig/Nurnburg, Heinrich and now it's Agir, Mainz, Roon U. Or if you don't have Mainz it's Agir, Heinrich, Roon U.

Would Kazagumo be a better option than Curlew retrofit? Kazu is IJN which helps with Shinano's buff and has a modified air-raid supremacy with a similar effective-health to Curlew given they're both light armor

Because he uses Azuma for the 3rd IJN ship. If you want to replace Azuma to Agir or Cheshire, you can use Kazagumo.

While you mentioned the other French BB's aren't top tier Champagne is tier 0 same as Richelieu and has been since her release. Gascogne is also tier 0 but for the mob fleet. Graf is also better than Strasser as well. Graf is tier 1 and Strasser is tier 2. The slow from Strasser also isn't reliable. According to the EU community tier list Graf>Strasser. I dunno really all the information I have seen from other people states the opposite of some of what you claim here so it might be down to different testing being done. I know the CN tier list varies from the EN tier list.

That's actually pretty normal believe it or not. Fred is powerful but has very little utility. You'll typically run bismarck zeppelin odin back line most of the time. Also use duble dive on zeppelin with ether the ar-197 or the bf-109g if you have it

QE buffs are pretty good for an HMS fleet, you can compared them.

like i said, HMS is more of a beginner/budget choice. faster salvo is quite a nice perk to have against some bosses, whereas DoY just makes HMS mediocre and not really good at anything.
