Ok, who thinks I'll actually be able to convince Mark Wiens to join me for #1 on the list? Drop a comment below and let me know!!! 2 down....23 to go...let's go!!!!!!
I did the same walk from the flower market to the sky bridge 4 months ago, also at sunset and I essentially had it to myself! Good to see the people are coming back. I also found it a bit confusing to find the entrance, but google maps is your friend in this case. I'm loving this countdown and the best thing is I'll be finishing it up while in Thailand. SNA-BKK a week from today!
Believe it or not Chris, Thailand is the best destination for tourists like now.The most popular country that people want to visit.About 7 million tourists came to Thailand for last two months. Beautiful beaches, nice food and very reasonable prices.
Make plans for Friday or Saturday. After watching the sunset at Chao Phraya Sky Park. You walk for about 10 minutes to visit Klong Ong Ang Walking Street. If you're stroll not full. You can walk to Yaowarat Street Food until it's closed to continue walking The Sampeng Night Market (1 am.- 6 am.) or Bobae Night Market ( 2 am.- 6 am.) Both markets are open every night except Monday.
Live this series im gonna do it myself cause i think no way Norway is on your list of most viewed countries 😅 but i have been seeing all your Videos 😃💪🏻🫶 you know it 🇳🇴
Yeah!! I've stayed on soi 11 a number of times when I've been to Bangkok. Great area!! OH Chris. By the way. At the flower market 4:47 Lots of flora, yes. But, no fauna. Fauna is animal life. Unless they were hiding. LOL
Had this year the same experience with this bridge, and with so many other new things in Bangkok. A huge step forward, but I do not like all places. Like this monstrosity of Icon Siam. Anyway Bangkok is def. my fav. city on this planet.
I am almost 70 YO, and it is creative minds like yours that has gotten me to almost completely give up "Old Media" entertainment. I have watched you and your videos grow since you had about 35,000 subs (finally sub'd myself today). I'm not even that interested in Thailand. I just find you to be entertaining.
I must say, your videos are absolutely brilliant! As an avid fan of your channel, I cannot express the sheer joy and happiness that they bring me. Your creative talent and dedication to your craft truly shines through in every video, and I am constantly left in awe. Your ability to engage with your audience is truly admirable, and it is evident that you have a genuine passion for what you do. Your unique perspective and approach to content creation are truly inspiring, and I cannot wait to see what new ideas and creations you will bring to the table. Your videos have become a staple in my daily routine, and they never fail to put a smile on my face. Your positive energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and I find myself eagerly awaiting each new upload. In short, I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for all the hard work and effort that you put into your videos. You have a true gift for content creation, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to enjoy it. Keep up the fantastic work, and know that you have a dedicated fan in me! Warm regards,
Found my way here via Thailand weekly (enjoy this arrival in my inbox Sunday morning - a deeper analysis on the latest news from Thailand with a unique RW4U twist) Thanks and greetings to all from Niamey in Niger.
I have never been to this 360 view, it came after my last visit to Bangkok, 2019.. but I have driven over the big bridge several times as well as a cruise on the Chao Paraya river, it is a great evening trip with food and drink and not least seeing Bangkok skyline from river view. it was a nice food and river cruise :)
I'm from Brooklyn, so a Baconeggncheese on Pepperidge farm Cinnamon swirl bread is my hangover go to. A little Syrup on the side for dipping. That's good eating. The Ghetto McGriddle
Just thought I would ask Chris why are you doing a video every day. What purpose does it achieve 😮just thought I would ask you overall been watching from the start great videos well done
it's because i know so many people are planning their first trip back here since covid so i wanted to work extra hard and offer up a series of Bangkok videos to help everyone plan their time in this great city....and show what's changed.
Is flower market you go is the original “ Pak klong talad “ because it is so crowded so busy so government make another flowers market #2 outside Bangkok.
Good idea to also include some catering suggestions; love Thai food but added to my to-do list: Breakfast Story - Eggs Benedict and Hemingway - BK institution. As a previous BK visitor who saw the recommended classics, looking forward to the new additions like the Chao Phraya sky bridge. (added to to-do list). Sure Mark will co-operate if you plug his restaurant 🙂 Very nice flow in the editing, interesting content and concept, you're on your way to RU-vid BK stardom. Keep going.
I have visited BKK for decades and have seen all of Marks top 25 and then some. Oh I am sure you have met Mark and are going to certainly make the video with him, Viva numero Uno #1. This is amazing work Chris, but what about you coming up with your very own Top 20 List for hidden gems in Bangkok all original and unique, I am sure there are tons of hidden places all over that amazing city, I can think of several all over this city, some close others bit far but the BTS and MRT can get you everywhere these days. I am looking forward to Retired working for you Top 20 Must see List soon. Great work Sir.
Hangover remedy here in Mexico = Spicy Menudo Soup with a Electrolytes Drink and 2 (Aspirin/Caffeine) You are golden. Very similar to the Thai soup “Tom Kha Gai” !!! Thank you for #24 Keep up the amazing work Chris !
เราขายดอกไม้ เราไม่ขายความรุนแรง เราเป็นประเทศที่เดินถือเบียร์ ตื่นมากินกาแฟแก้เมา เราไม่ขายปืน และนิวเครียร์ we sell flowers We don't sell violence. we walk with beer We wake up to drink coffee to cure drunkenness. We don't walk with guns. We don't sell nuclear.
Really appreciate your channel and all the effort in your videos in showing us Thailand in a deeper surface. I cannot wait till I figure out all my logistic on moving over there.
A little outside this series, but the Flower Festival in Chiang Mai is Feb 3-5. Not sure if your stay with family goes beyond January, but though I would throw it out there. Look forward to seeing you and Adam in January. Go Leafs Go.
Eyy fellow South African here who's moving abroad for the first time to Thailand at the end of this month! 😄 🇿🇦 Awesome new series Chris, looking forward to exploring all the spots 😁
We play it hard in Australia...all the old dudes used to assure us young fellas (a long time ago) that the cure for a hangover can always be found at the bottom of the 3rd beer! 😋🍻
Hey Chris, nothing better than some icy papaya juice to hit hangover and some jam sandwich, and what a lovely flower market perfect to grab more than a bunch of flowers ;)
There was actually an article about this bridge and several parks in BKK on CNN's website last week - about flooding and using public parks as a way to prevent city flooding.
Hi Chris from another Chris watching you from Nigeria, where I work. I am French following you since at least 2 years now and enjoy your channel! I am coming regularly to Thailand since 1998.... this year I made 3 trips already including one with my teens daughters. Your BKK challenge will help us to prepare for. The next trip! Keep going!
👋🏼 Hey Chris! Episode 24 👍🏼keep them coming!♥️ Favourite hangover food for us is classic greasy breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and coffee. 🍻Cheers🍻 ♥️🇨🇦
BEST HANGOVER FOOD = beef Pho (with just a little bit of chili garlic paste) + Vietnamese coffee 👌👌 Plus it's still available when you wake up at 1pm! Great content as always Chris!
OMG! I just found out about this new challenge!! I think it's an amazing idea! :D Thanks so much for that! 💔 I don't know if we Argentinians were on the list, but at least I watch your videos haha
