Omg one of those steering wheels for 59-60

I've seen so many of these stories over my 70 years. First of all this is a hoarder not a collector. If asked to buy anything they are not sure what they want to do. Always plan to do something with that. Sadly most have good intentions overwhelmed by time. Most people haven't an idea what to do with this treasures. It will turn to rust not even good for scrap. Love the tri-five Chevy's but my favorite is the '59 Chevy Impala....my first car in 1977 when I was 17 years old. I was born in 1959.

If I were you I'd get as many parts off of those 59 El caminos I think that would the best way to get what you need

Wow, those old cars take me back. I was remembering especially my stepdad's 1962 Chevy Corvair Monza (two door hardtop coupe). Our family moved around a lot back then, so I have strong memories of sitting for days in the hard under-sized backseat of that car. The engine was in the rear, so it was so very hot in the summer! That car moved us from Massachusetts to Florida pulling a UHaul trailer. Then we moved to Texas. Then to California. Then to Louisiana. And finally to Mississippi. That old car saw some stuff. My stepdad was gonna give it to me when I went to college but, despite all the repairs he had done to that car over the years, he finally gave up on it when the engine block cracked and he sold it to a kid down the street for a hundred bucks. That stung. (I wasn't allowed to help with the car, except for washing it because it wasn't nice for girls to get dirty.) I saw the Corvair on the road a few times after that, so I know that guy fixed it up. Glad about that but also kinda made me sad--it was like seeing an old family member and not being able to visit. Still love to look at old cars, so I enjoy your channel and watching the care with which you work, Jason. Thanks for that and for inspiring me to remember.

Bud need a set of drs and hatch and tailgate off wagon dr from post car as mines a 56 2 dr wagon help in Washington state , the Bogarde the parts or want a fortune , there was a gazillion 4 dr wagons those parts are Sam two Dr wagon or 4, and 2 dr postcard drs should be a dime a dozen. 🎉Let me know if you can wheel and deal for me I can come down from Washington and meet ya some where , if any of it’s affordable . I’m retired but can come up with 200.00 a month in parts lol

All of those classics are cool, I'd like to have any one of those as a starter car, my true passion is classic gm, quick question, I need to find a 58 chevy sedan for my wife's grampa, this man is an American veteran of the veitnam war and lost his 58 Delray about the time he was deployed to the Nam, and is also a wounded veteran, this man told me the story a number of times about that 58 chevy sedan,and how he lost it, me and some other relatives are on a mission to get him his dream chevy back, his was t-boned while he was deployed in the nam, and when he got out he was given his keys back with out a 58 car, but only to see what had happened, he was crushed, I'd like to help this army veteran get a 2nd chance at owning a 58 chevy again, it doesn't matter whether or not it's an impala, Delray, Belair, biscayne, as long as we can find him a 58 chevy, for a 2nd chance, hit me back

That Pontiac (@8:55) wagon was a Safari! Pontiac’s version of the Chev Nomad. Thay are more rare than Nomads. @10:01 left frame is a 1957 sedan delivery. Have never seen a running one.

YOU SHOULD HAVE LOOKED FOR THE REAR BALANCES THAT HAD THE REVERSE LIGHTS ON THEM, BELOW THE BUMPER. OR SIDE CARGO ( RAILS ) THAT STOOD ON EACH SIDE OF THE BED. THEY GIVE A NICE TOUCH! LAST OF ALL THAT WAS A INTRESTING MOTOR EPISODE HOPE IT ALL GOES WELL. GOOD LUCK! & GOD BLESS! ADIOS.
