The best sign of a good explorer is that they never take anything or disturb anything while they’re there. That’s huge! Thank you for respecting this property and thank you to all of the great explorers who do the same! You make it great for everyone!! RIP Betty White- you were an icon over many generations. I slightly disagree with your comment I dont want to bring hate but I would love to have a discussion! I love exploring and have been doing it for about a year! @@legoguy-sb6mu I guess it depends on the situation. If someone just passed in a location and people are rummaging around, trying to find something of value. Then shame on those who do this. In your case, where vintage clothing would surely be lost if left, then by all means…. RESCUE IT! If you didn’t rescue items that were LONG forgotten, then they would be lost forever. Is there a place where you post your findings? I’m curious about your hobby.

The red felt table is called a bumper pool table. It became popular in the 50's so people could play at the pub where space didn't allow a huge pool table then became a home game really popular in the 70's and 80's when rec rooms became a thing in homes. Historically, it's an offshoot of croquet, a table version. Now ya know. lol

I agree with you why leave such beautiful property to rot. I suppose that as part of the insurance claim the property contents became a part of the insurance claim and that's why the owners couldn't take the stuff with them. If the owner was elderly it can seem insurmountable. Getting them out can be top priority as well as nearly impossible. I know my grandma didn't want to let go and cursed Us. She had brain cancer and was not thinking straight. In this instance, it's better to not take steps...too upsetting and "final" for her taste at that age and illness. Situations like this will tie everyone's hands. As for responses about Betty White, they said she had ONCE owned it, so I don't think she had been the last owner of this mansion.Once she sold it, it was outta' her hands for good.

The interior architecture is masterpieces and we aren't seeing any of that. This was the first one that associated Betty Whites name to this house. According to the people that live in the area and actually knew the owners, a guy named Rocko lived there, he sold the house around 4 or 5 years ago and a fire broke out on the second floor kitchen back in 2018 (no one was living there at the time) but there was a buyer. The people that lived there was rich enough that they just left their things and brought new stuff, Instead of just abandoning it, they could have donated the baulding to a non profit of some sort and made it into a huge homeless shelter, they really didn't care what happened to it anyway.

If you have ever dealt with a fire, then you know that SMOKE damage gets into everything, that hasn't burned and you just can't get it out and if you pay a professional company to try to restore items, it often cost more than the item was worth used.

It’s beautiful 🤩🥰💜 There are so many things in that house that should be taken and cleaned up and put in the museum somewhere. So many beautiful pieces of furniture that can still be salvaged, you can replace the glass in those curio cabinets. I’m just curious, do you guys ever take anything from these houses you film?

I love watching young people go through abandoned places. The front door looks to be Mahogany and probably hand carved. The "dead animals" are old mink collars, more than likely real, and would've been valuable had they been in mint condition. The styrofoam heads you found are to place wigs or hats on. I think the room with the expensive padded wallpaper was the girls bedroom and the small room off that a changing room I assume, and her closet was probably off to the left. The red covered Octogon table is to play bumper pool, the game room had a wet bar; not a full kitchen. Even though the house caught fire, I'm surprised that the owners didn't salvage the gold colored hutches, family photos and some of the other vintage collectibles- like the arcade games you were drooling over (lol). It would be interesting to find out some history on the place. This is what the value of money means to rich people- they have so much of it they just let it burn up.

Great video....if this was Betty White's House, it's interesting that California has no snow. She made one of her last TV Interviews in 2017 and talked about the two houses she and her Husband owned, only two. One is in Carmel and the other was in West Los Angeles, CA. She and her Husband, Allen built the Carmel House together in the 70's. He passed away in 1981 and she never remarried. He only spent two nights in the house before he was hospitalized for stomach cancer. She had friends and Caregivers but stayed unmarried for 41 years. As nice as this house is, there isn't anything about her having to move from her home because of a fire. I like your videos but hope you all are able to get more accurate info before sharing things about a Person's Home Retreat, that are not true. Thank you for the time you all put into this and I do hope you will get to see how people lived before your time. That will happen to you one day, because you can't take anything from this Earth with you when it's your turn to go. I'm sure you would like people to have as close as possible of a true account about your life when they see what you left behind. I hope most importantly that your Hearts are in the right place so you will not be LEFT BEHIND when JESUS comes to take Home all people who believe in HIM. It's so easy to trust and believe. Believe that JESUS died on The CROSS of CALVARY to forgive you of your Sin. HE did not stay dead. HE ROSE on the 3rd day and because HE ROSE, we will RISE with HIM when HE COMES for US IN THE RAPTURE? The Bible tells us that HE will come for US as a thief in the night, unannounced. HE is only taking Home all Believers who have asked HIM for Forgiveness! ARE YOU READY?

in the beginning of the video, he states that Betty White sold the house about 30 years ago. And, that the present owner abandoned it, and that there was a fire. Talking about getting facts straight and then go off on a tangent about someone who wasn't even a christian. lmao

@@michellegulden1052 I'm so sorry about missing that part of the video. When I hit the play button, the part about the house selling 30 years ago was not there. On my edition, it just began with them entering the house. Then they showed where the fire had been and Betty White was mentioned many more times while they were in that house so of course I thought they were saying she lived in that house at the time she passed. I only shared my Faith and my hope is that everyone becomes a Believer or is already a Believer. You may have your opinion about a tangent but IF you are Left Behind, I would imagine you thinking about wishing that a lot of people would have shared more about their Faith with you. One thing I did not talk about is what Church or denomination anyone might belong to. Those are truly important in Life but do not give you entrance into Heaven. The only WAY, is to believe what JESUS SAID.... "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME." JOHN 14:6 That tangent can be found throughout The New Testament. GOD gave those Words for men to write so they would be taught and shared and bring people's hearts to a place of Forgiveness and The PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN with GOD. JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT and ALL of your Loved Ones who have gone there ahead of you. Please accept these words in the Spirit of love, the way they are meant. Q

Oh dang, i love kahlua. Such a beautiful mansion. I too, loved Betty White. Rest in Paradise dear Lady. In the case of a major fire, the home insurance will pay for the damage to the home and contents, so the homeowner can either repair the damage, or as in most cades, buy a new home and furnishings, so the furnidhings and anything damaged by the smoke usually gets left behind. In the game room, that red table is a bumper pool table. This has got to be 1 of The coolest explores i have Ever seen. Stay safe
