Exploring Abandoned Steam Locomotive Shed @ Dinting Railway Centre. Part 1.
In this Mondays video I explore the remains of the former steam locomotive depot at Dinting near Glossop in Derbyshire which when it was abandoned by British Rail in the late 1960s was taken over by the Bahamas Locomotive Society who created the Dinting Railway Centre which operated until the early 1990s when the society was evicted by the landlord in a bitter dispute that led the society to abandon Dinting and move to Ingrow on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway in West Yorkshire.
