You guys are missing so much, you need to spend TIME there. Camp out, pay attention to the morning and evening shadows connected to the petroglyph areas. Pick the Special Dates of the Solstice and Equinoxes. I cannot emphasize this enough. ManUp and start watching for the SHADOW GLYPHS connected to the area. These occur in all of the western states including California. Your looking for SHADOW GEOGLYPHS connected.

It is somewhat strange but these look like cows or something similar because of the type of horn, in reality the cow is not native, the buffalo is and it does not appear to be a buffalo.

It is really fun to hear you discuss and interpret it. It finally makes more sense! I saw a petroglyph,near Moab by the river, of a wooly mammoth. Many years later I was told that it was gone. Some kids blasted it away with a shotgun.

Every school across the country should teach in history, NOT to deface wall art!!! That it should be left for the generations after them! When caught, they have no idea abut this. I've even heard a few say it was just tagging and that's why they leave their own mark.

1st of all this terrain is absolutely beautiful. Seems very lush, easy to imagine Native Americans living here. But I have to say I've never seen such clear and distinct petroglyphs. I guess because they're hidden, no one to deface them, or they must not get a lot of sun, wind or water damage. Very, very nice thank you so much. I also thought of something else. Isn't there wind and oil drilling out near Dinosaur National Monument? If so maybe they're disturbing the aliens?!!?

@8:23 these "formations" are ancient structures. Sandstone is ancient concrete. The amount of weathering from rain, floods etc makes the building hard to notice. You see you where very little weather and could take place a block still exists.

All these large rock formations are actually ancient structures. There are ways inside of them deep inside. The level of weathering makes it look like just any other Rock but it was an old building. When they came back to repopulate us they knew where the buildings were.
