i love your explores, you find the very best properties. & that you are meticulous & as thorough as you are is a blast. i'm 68 in america & used to go in any abandoned home i came across starting as a child, i am thrilled every time you put out another video. i'm going to london just before c'masd in 2024 & hoping to tour some of these historic homes in quaint historic villages, what a gas that will be. i can't wait. my greatgramps immigrated from england back in the late 1800's. so this is part of my heritage which is so cool. keep up the good work, i love it!
Wow the best guy on you tube is back, I think I speak for everyone by saying we really missed you, and what a fantastic video to come back with, the length of the video was amazing to & wish it could of been longer because like everyone else we love you Stare. What an amazing house, that beautiful furniture & those beautiful pictures on the wall, I love looking at the old photos from the 1800's & 1900's, there's just something magical about them. I hope all that stuff is saved & some relative comes forward, I think some of the stuff should be in a museum like the old telephone. Anyway Stare really great to see you again on here, please stay safe & a belated happy New year to you. Andy. 👍😊👍
Hi Andy, it good to be back with a new house to show you at last. Like you I also loved that old telephone, it was actually plugged into the phone socket so they were actually still using it :) I love these old houses with nothing modern in them, some people are happy using things they grew up with so didn’t see the need to buy more up to date things like microwaves etc. Anyway good to hear from you again my old friend, speak soon.
@@stare6711.... But could buy a new thing called custard pots and new looking tv/monitor & the rest . Maybe the house is from a covid patient who didnt make it but , who knows ? A slight hint of breaking and entering side of things i say ....sorry...just how it looks tbh
Welcome back!!.....Really missed you and your videos....Hope all is well and really hope you do not become a stranger again really love your videos...Take care for now ❤
It makes me sad to think all them beautiful things are being left to just rot 😢. Let’s hope someone buys the house with its contents and rescues it. Great video by the way
No apology is necessary. I enjoyed the entire video. What stunning furniture, pictures, dishes, figurines, and the old Bible! Thank you for sharing this treasure trove. All the best. 😊
Thanks for coming back and sharing. Try looking at the tinned and packet food in the kitchen for dates ! These people, though hoarders obviously loved their possessions and had a keen eye for quality. I will never be able to understand how family can leave their predecessors lovely houses so neglected and not save all their beautiful items. Some of the desks and storage furniture in particular was lovely. Stay safe Till next time Janice 👵 🇬🇧 xxx Gardenia is my favourite perfume.
I found you an hr ago and just watched this amazing old home. I don't know how old they were in 1968 when they married to be gone now. We married in 1970 and are in our early 70s and we hike and cycle despite arthritis. So these ppl either didn't keep themselves fit after retirement or something killed them that they couldn't do anything about. So sad. We definitely think they're forefathers we're extremely wealthy. Some of that stuff looks like stately home stuff. The garden's look like they've never been tended in decades. Maybe it's in probate. So sad to see ppls' lifetime belongings just left to rot. A ceiling takes some time to drop like that. I love long videos and alas not many ppl make them.
Hello again Darren, I’m glad you enjoyed the tour of the place, I just love finding them when they are untouched like this. So many cool things to see. It was a pleasure filming the place:)
Thanks for sharing this wonderful home Tons of one of a kind items and family heirlooms. My heart hurt for family photos that nature will soon claim 😢🙏🏾
Hello again mate, ha yes there were items that I saw in this house that also reminded me of my grandparents house too. So nice to find them untouched like this:) hope to see you in one of your videos soon.
Hello again Steve, hope your well? This really was a pleasure to film as it was full of interesting things and completely untouched by others moving things around for photos. Wish I could find places like this every week but they are becoming rarer these days. Take it easy and hopefully speak soon:)
I loved every second of your view of this magnificent house , ,like you l could have spent the whole day looking here. Thankyou SO MUCH. THE BIBLE WAS WONDERFULL. LYN FROM AUSTRALIA
I am originally from Windsor. I was born there...This simply breaks my heart that some family member hasn't come forward to claim these beautiful 'photos and china...How hard the owners of this house must have worked....Maybe they didn't have any children? I don't know...I would buy it in a minute.....I would treasure it just like the previous owners have done.....I would keep their 'photos dotted around the home and show such respect for them...They would be so pleased that I was taking care of it...The furniture is so beautiful......Thank you for showing us this beautiful home.........
That's terrible that all of that beautiful furniture will be destroyed. That house I'd loaded with very expensive antiques. Wood carvings. Wow! My husband's mother would go nuts seeing all of these immaculate furnishings of time past!!
As an antique dealer and it pains me to see places like this with treasured items left to rot. If you know who the new owners are I’d be happy to give them a cash offer so the items can be used for generations to come
I explore also. But although this house was wonderful this felt like breaking and entering into somewhere not long left. Publishing this especially with the outside photo is just inviting disaster for this place and the wonderful antiques. Elwell painting is worth a tidy sum. I could not watch to the end ..uncomfortable viewing.
Time you entered I could easily see that an elderly person spent they're last days at home. No longer able to care for the garden or their home. I fear the same fate.
Please, please don't be afraid to do a rather long video! I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking we would LOVE you to take all the time you like to go through it ALL for us. If it's too long for some they can watch in installments as and when they can, but please, please DO make a wonderful lonnnng video even if it IS 2 hrs long!! You'll be the ONLY one who gives us that time and the chance to see everything. X
Hi Kate, i love these kinda houses that are packed full of stuff, you just have to open the drawers as you never know what your gonna find. It was a pleasure to film the place for you:)
@@Charlie-gq6qh Absolutely Charlie, long story short, our family house has been in limbo since 2015, and we still cannot enter it legally. Living in fear that others will illegally. It's a constant worry 😯 cheers 🍻
Hi Marilyn, im pleased you enjoyed the tour of the place and you didnt think the video was too long. Like you said there was sooooo much awesome stuff inside to see that i just couldnt rush it:)
Your videos are brilliant! At last a new one 😊. I certainly would not complain if your videos were 2 hours long. Gem of a place! Feel sorry for the poor houseplants, desperately trying to survive!
Long time no see! Lol. Wow! What a place. I would imagine maybe someone in the Navy may have lived there. It's hard to believe that the house is abandoned. Perhaps they are in a Nursing Home? It looks like someone started packing up and stopped. Maybe the property is in dispute with the relatives of the owners? Or maybe they left it as they didn't have money for death taxes, and all that goes with it? I was expecting someone to walk in... Glad you are back.
Hi Eileen, yes you could be right about someone being in the navy as there were so many things with boats and ships on. Amazing place, wish I could find more like this . . . . . . . .:)
Darren, I really loved this explore, especially seeing photos from the 1800s which is so interesting to me. The carvings on the furniture looked fantastic! I could spend hours in a place like that, a true time capsule! You always find amazing places to explore. Don’t you ever worry about the video being long as I feel the longer the better. Thank you, and, I hope to see you soon. 👍😊❤️
Hey Chrissy, thanks for the nudge in getting this place edited, I know it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything new. Hopefully it was worth the wait as it really was a great place to show you around:) Speak soon
What an excellent explore thank you so very much. Maybe it's going through the courts for the relatives. Let's hope so. And thank you for your patience in showing us this lovely home b beverley UK
Gardenia is women's perfume. I'm surprised that someone hasn't cleared that place out. So many valuable items left behind, alot of money just sitting there!
Nice respectful neighbourhood house not ruined ,surprise you can see closeness of another’s property’s troughs windows of the whole video.Bravo for good neighbours!Sad home is left….to decay.
They were serious collectors! That was a lifetime of carefully chosen pieces from antique shops and fairs up and down the country. I know this because I do the same and I recognise that they liked everything that was old. I could get a really good profile of this couple. They had flipping excellent taste in antiques. It was all valuable. Their house was spectacularly gorgious, will have to watch this excellent explore several times. It was fascinating and just up my street. The best explore I'm ever likely to see, mate, I can't thank you enough, this was sheer perfection. Respect.
Hi Pat, im glad you enjoyed the tour of the place. Like you i also love all the old stuff, they just done make things as good these days. If you enjoyed all the antiques in this place i also did another similar place on my last explore, the one before this video, full of antiques, tea caddies, silver perfume bottles and a human bone foot . . . . . . . Im sure you would find it almost as interesting as this place:) Thanks for watching
Beautiful 1940's house. Bet that carved sideboard weighs a ton! Makes you wonder what happened to the people who lived there. doesn't it? So nice to see nothing stolen or trashed for a change and no, the video wasn't too long. Well done.
Ha yes that sideboard looks soooooo heavy :) Like you said, it’s nice to see a place just left how the previous owners left it, not trashed or graffitied. It was a pleasure to film this place for you:)
Hi Julie, Im glad you enjoyed the tour of the place. So much cool stuff just left behind, hope its gets saved and maybe a charity can come in and reuse many of the items for people who need them. Thanks for watching:)
Just discovered your explore and wow what a great video of a lovely place and such a shame it’s been abandoned. I’ll definitely be looking at future videos from you keep up the good work.
Check out his old videos, they're awesome! Look for the video of the house that was owned by a lady with dementia, it's a real eye opener. Very touching.
Finally !! You're back !! Do not apolagize I love watching your videos they are always so interesting ! So much stuff in this house, beautiful furnitures, antiques it's a collector dream !! Thank you so much for showing us this incredible place. Hope to see you soon !! Stay safe 👍🇨🇦
Hi Mitsy, I’m glad you didn’t mind the long video, these kinda houses are so interesting with all their old things inside, just soooo much to film and document:) Speak soon
In 1959 at Christmas I had a little bottle of scent like the "Gardenia, London " one you asked about. Mine was Californian Poppy, and my Mum bought it from a Sikh salesman who was selling stuff door to door from his suitcase.
My only wish is that some of the relatives of the folks who used to live there would go back and make it the absolutely beautiful home it once was keeping parts of the original occupants there too before this beautiful house gets destroyed . It took a lifetime to collect and get the house into this beauty it is it would be a crime to let it get into a state of disrepair
Maybe the property is in probate. That seems to happen a lot. Nothing can be removed until family members agree on how to divide things. That is sad as well. Having a Will drawn up is important.
It's so good to see you, again! Very fascinating home with so many beautiful things to see. I just want to tell you that I'd really enjoy longer videos, there is so much to see! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos!
Hello again, I’m glad you don’t mind these longer videos. The house was full of sooooo much cool stuff that I really wanted to make sure you got to see everything that was there. It was a pleasure to film it for you:)
What a fantastic house, You seem to find the best time capsules, I'm glad you don't rush, Love the old furniture and photo's, Thanks for another amazing explore .
Hello again, this place was a pleasure to film for you, so much cool stuff to see and document. Like you I also loved the old furniture, they just don’t make it like that anymore. Let’s hope it all gets saved and appreciated by someone soon:)
This is the first of your videos I have watched and I have say your camera work excellent and hmm well really everything about your video! Count me in!
Hi Ruby, thanks for your kind comments, i do try and go as slow and steady as i can with the camera as i want you to see all the details that i see. Houses as untouched as this dont come up that often so i wanted to try and film as much of it as i could. There was soooo much interesting stuff inside too that i didnt know what to film first. Im really pleased you didnt think it was too long a video and it was a pleasure to film for you:) Thanks for watching
Just finished the video in the morning because I fell asleep, that happens a lot, so take no offense. But I had to backtrack when you said there was a human foot. I immediately thought it has to be a medical educational model. Great video! Loved how you squeezed through the doggie door. Lol
Hi Dawn, yes id also love to buy the place and go through all of the stuff in the house, i bet there is some treasure to be found amongst it all for sure:) Thanks for watching
@@nicolad8822 He did not disclose the location nor did he touch or take anything, usual urbex explorer, he didn't break in either, the window was open. If you don't like the content why are you watching?
well done , what a hoard of artistic treasure, of times gone by when there was more respect for things made properly, instead of plastic and electronics.thank you taffy boyo, if you ever need an assistant?
Aww that is a bit sad really, a couple collected & loved all the items in that home & no doubt had wonderful stories to tell about them, such beautiful things 🥹 stunning furniture & the amount of money in there in furniture alone is crazy, I wonder what the story is behind this home, why has it been left. Thank you, I’ve only just found your channel, subscribing. it’s good you don’t reveal the location. ❤
I owe you an apology now I understand why you didn't go into detail how lovely to see this beautiful home 🏡 that was so much to say which is why it explains to me that if you did go into detail, how much langar the video would have taken to film 📽️ thank you 😁 really appreciate your time and also the work you have put in xx😊
Hey Wayne good to hear from you again. Glad you enjoyed the explore, great to find them untouched like this, before everything gets stolen and moved around for photos :) Catch up soon
@@stare6711 Hi Darren. There are some stunning pieces in there especially that sideboard. I couldn’t believe the work that went into that. Yes will speak soon. Nice one Darren.
I really enjoyed this video, thank you! Whatever has happened, I hope that some of these lovely pieces are rescued before they fall into disrepair and that the new buyers of the house restore it sympathetically with the original features preserved.
