I have visited quite a few ghost town before but Gold King Mine Ghost Town in Jerome Arizona is more than just a ghost town! Aside from its history, they have farm animals around that is very friendly. They also teaches you how to pan gold which is very interesting. At the end of the gold panning lesson, I got 4 flakes of gold and some garnet inside my mini bottle. I stayed here for more than I expected because there's so much old things in here that people long time ago were using on the daily basis that we do not see now. I also enjoyed feeding and carrying farm animals. After spending most of the day in Jerome, we drove south to Prescott and paddle at Willow Lake the next day. I love paddling in Watson and Willow Lake, the only thing I did not like is when you get stuck on the grasses and then it's hard to paddle. Unfortunately, there's more in this lake that Watson.
