Love this part of California. Beautiful coverage of our central ccv coastline. Have you explored McVay Falls? It's where the fresh water streams meet the saltwater of the Pacific Ocean. Very beautiful and photo worthy. You had great weather! It's often overcast there. Love your adventures!

Totally enjoy your videos! Lots of great tips mixed in with great footage of Luna. :) I love Hwy 1 and I found its twin in Australia a few years ago. I rented a campervan there and drove the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommend! The van came with a book listing all the free and under $20 overnight parking. I stayed in some pretty interesting spots! ha! Keep the videos coming!

Very cool area! Yeah bridges near big bodies of water give me anxiety 🙃 😩 so ill live through your experiences. Luna's face when you were eating that maple croissant...so sad! 😄 safe travels!

Corizzo plains is a bit of a haul from where you were. Great place though. Next time you are in big sur try and go up the mountains. Many nice spots to car camp with breath taking views of hwy 1. It is a personal favorite of mine.

Yes, that is a fantastic area….All of the free amazing Big Sur options that are higher up were not accessible, due to mudslide concerns. I called the park rangers many times before this camp trip last year.

If you do make it up that way, there is a bench that over looks a cliff. The view at or near sunset/sunrise is unlike any other.

1:14. You are not in Big Sur. Bixby Bridge is North of Little Sur. Below Little Sur is Big Sur. No one from Big Sur was cut off prior to the Bixby Bridge. They used the road behind you which is known as The Old Coast Road which drops down to Molera in the real Big Sur. Lots of homes behind you. There are redwoods up the Bixby not just Big Sur. The Post Ranch is not the location of the original and real Post Ranch. RIP Greg Hildreth Bixby Bridge 7:00 AM Nov 12, 1982

I've heard trails with dogs are more to protect wildlife. Animals like mountain lions will leave an area if dogs are near. Trying to find a dog friendly hike in big sur. Did you find one with lots of trees and dog friendly that you would recommend

I lived in Santa Cruz for over 20 years and I can tell you the best time to visit that area is October November and sometimes into December. No fog and sunny, warm days. Also, if you haven't tried Nepenthe restaurant right on the water in Big Sur, you should. Best hamburger ever. As a native Californian I am really enjoying your videos. Subscribed.

Love a video about dog safety for long-ish trips. Like when you leave the dog in the car for necessary stops like bathroom breaks, or if you need to pick something up from a store. (Ventilation to prevent overheating) Seat belts. Best spits to stop for Bathroom breaks for the dog. Food and water availability during the drive. Overnight safety. Bug protection for pets.

What a breath-taking & beautiful drive it is down Highway 1! Your footage reminded me that I am long overdue to make that trip again. The forests of Redwoods and the ocean views are just glorious. The Pacific coast can’t be beat for scenic beauty! And I am so impressed with what a wonderful travel companion Luna has become. She is so well behaved. I’m thinking back to the early days when she was not used to the car and seeing how far she has come! You have trained her well and she is such a good girl!
