@@KristynaRomain The only other city close to Chandigarh is Bangalore. Chandigarh was designed by world famous architect Le Caobousiur and it was built from scratch on farm lands in 1952.

The doors are small because we have to bend down our heads while entering.. Which means that when we are entering somewhere, we have to leave our pride or egos and outside and bend down our heads to and enter inside.The smaller doors is a reminder for that.

Chandigarh is the joint capital of the two states of Punjab and Haryana. It was designed by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. I'm glad you chose to visit this city. :)

9:15 You're such a sweetheart, Kristyna! Btw, There's a Punjab in Pakistan too, moreover Haryana and Himachal Pradesh were part of Punjab before 1966! The area is now referred to as Greater Punjab, same size as *Germany* .

Come to Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It's called the city of Temples, in the eastern side of India. And you'll find "Avenues" here, too!

Nice video again, Now Kristyna is very good to pronounce the name of the Indian city's. I want to share one important thing with you -- next 10-15 days Millions of devotees of Lord Shiva will come to Haridwar, and roads to Haridwar will be crowded, because of holy month of Shravan (Savan). Haridwar and Rishikesh are nearby cities. So keep that in mind and plan accordingly. Enjoy your trip to Uttarakhand

I don't know if you guys would read this. But you can use City Bus Service. Bus network in Chandigarh is so good and affordable that you don't need an auto rickshaw or hired bike to travel. You can use 'Tic Tic' app to know which bus to catch to reach your destination. If I am not wrong daily pass for an AC bus costs around ₹50 per person and you can board any bus and travel anywhere inside the city. And yes thanks for covering Chandigarh and Amritsar hope you guys are loving India🤗

Attention Please : If you guys are visiting south India then please visit Mysuru City. 137kms away from silicon valley of India Bengaluru. Mysuru the cleanest city (2nd tier cities) in India & is known as the heritage capital of Karnataka state. This city is known for it's palaces, art, culture & heritage. There are lot of places in & around this which you plan & visit, which takes nearly 5-6 days to cover all those beautiful locations. Places to visit in & around Mysuru city 1. Mysuru Palace (also known as Amba Vilas Palace) 2. Chamundi hill. 3. Brindavan gardens & Krs dam 4. Sand museum, Wax museum, Sea shell museum, Museum at Jaganmohana Palace. 5. Somanathpura temple. 6. Venugopalaswamy temple (KRS backwaters) 7. Kabini backwaters & wildlife 8. Nagarahole wildlife sanctuary 9. Bandipur wildlife sanctuary 10. Gaganachukki - Shivanasamudra Waterfalls 11. Chandigarh is a beautiful city very clean. A new capital city of Andhra Pradesh state named as Amaravathi within 1 or 2 years, construction is going on. Whole city planning was done by Singapore and almost all government buildings architecture work was given to the great architect Norman Foster of England

its look like rectangular because Chandigarh is a plan city and its use block or rectangular road pattern,similar in Nagpur its used star grid pattern and new Delhi circular pattern.

TheArcade12 here do have. It's flooded with way too many people from up bihar and other states. And they made like slums outside city. There are now beggars sleeping on road sides, they are making city dirty. This is the main reason why it slipped from cleanest city of India. I am saying this, because it's my city. There is huge pressure on its infrastructure because of mass migration. Crime rates are also rising. So sad to see bad guys destroying our city beautiful.

ramandeep .singh The city of Chandigarh was planned for a population of half a million, there are over a million residents living there now! 200,000 in slums. Biharis keep coming like it's a "free for all", they do menial jobs and sell unhygienic food to our children. Biharis and eastern UP'ites should halt babies production for half a century, it might help raise living standards.

Government already given them houses and they are not living there. They put it on rent and made new slums. Why should our government give them everything rather than natives of chandigarh and punjab. Vote Bank politics at its best.

vivek sharma just cuz the state is in north does not mean its dirty our government does nothing cities in punjab are today only cuz of there people. Punjan, Himachal,Jammu,Gujarat,Rajasthan all west bordering states are developing at a high rate and are very organized. Instead of using south india use southern part of india and yes South cities are beautiful as well. I've only been to mumbai(south), Chinnai, Puducherry, Hyderabad and Banglore😊

le courbusier was a hideous designer,look at the public buildings in chandigarh,they are very ugly,his socialistic monotonous planning ensured there is no beauty,just uniform roads and same concrete mess..not to forget his experiment in brasil was a failure,cities that develop with economic logic are succesful,the traditional cities with their narrorw alleys and decorative aesthetic is more pleasing,ofcourse they can be modernised but not into this pre-planned and ugly way

you are right Chandigarh is a very sterile looking city.Indian Cities need to be planned with a lot more Shade trees on walkways and roads

and unesco is the ultimate authority? why do we need validation from them? have a look at those yourself and then judge,itni bhaddi buildings hai..infact le courbesier was criticized the world over,if he had his way,all classical buildings in europe would have been demolished for roads and uniform apartments.

First waterfall visited in India?Guys you missed idukki district of kerala,monsoon is heavy in kerala and all waterfalls are absolutely gorgeous now. BTW chandigarh is beautiful .
