Actually, the classic Monza layout was last used in 1960. In 1966, only the movie "Grand Prix" was shot there, but the actual race was done without the banking. #f1geek

The reason why it has corners now is due to the fact of how cars would go to fast through there and have an accident, it was after Aryton Senna was killed when the actually put in the corners.

Looked like 0 tow in the 67 lotus, was it at max revs? Classic cars take a totally different mindset yo drive. It is more like driving a modern drift car, you throttle dictates how tight or wide you take some corners. I spent years driving in Grand Prix Legends. Can't wait for more classics!

u need a setup. toe will stabilise these cars to a degree and stop the "rollicking" sensation just trying to go straight. also save your setup as ai_default, reload the track and the AIs will use it. much better racing. heel toe down shifting is the go. awesome track

They're not too difficult imo. Use the driver line to learn the braking points and this track becomes a piece of cake in no time. Weird that other cars were overtaking you like that. I drove the Ferrari 312 and the lotus stomped it in a straight line

Hey Ben, if you would like to use different classic cars there is a “Grand Prix legends” mods with the Eagle T1G, Honda RA300, Jackie Stewart’s BAR, Mclaren m5a, and some other cars. If you want to race with them disable the Lotus 49 and and Ferrari 312/67 that are given in the mod and add the originals.

Ascari chicane isn't there because it was made into a chicane after Alberto Ascari crashed and died at the curve. I'm assuming this layout you're using is very old because Ascari raced in the 50's

Its a completely different driving style you need for those 60s cars. You almost need to 4 wheel drift them the whole time and brake super, super earlyand float it through the corners.

I did the classic kinda oval in Indy on project cars 2 on controller I lost grip through 3and 4 on the oval configuration and slid into the wal lost my rear wheel slid to the apron sitting sideways and got creamed by my friend bc he came in blind

Mess with your brake bias to get better turn in. Seems like that lotus wasn't turning for shit lol. I don't remember it it's forward or backward but yeah adjust the bias to control how it handles
