Exploring Colorado | Searching For An Endangered Animal: What Happened on this Trip?
On this Colorado expedition, we were looking for an endangered animal. What happened on our trip, you ask? Watch to find out!
This video is a little bit of an adventure, and a lot of fun. We filmed it while exploring some of the amazing beauty of Colorado. But wait, we weren't just looking for a scenic view. We were looking for an endangered animal!
So what happened on our trip? Watch the video and find out! You might be surprised!
I will be headed back out to the area where I had the problem with a angry human, in the next episode.

Hey mate just came across your channel. As a fellow overlander, youtuber and dog owner, I really enjoyed the video and subscribed to the channel. Great authentic video and down to earth like us. Keep up the great work and keep it doing it your style. Not about views or likes, but what matters 👍

Enjoyed the scenery, drone filming, and beautiful details that you concentrate on. Your camping vehicle was really, really neat too! Want to see more. No guess on animal being looked for, but I love animals, insects and nature more than people. Subscribed!

"Ive had several situations where I ran into violent people in the woods". Been there man. I always stay strapped just in case, for a reason. EDC a pistol and bearspray out there for sure
@IndependenceOverland
@IndependenceOverland Год назад
I do carry a pistol. One of the times I didn’t, I had I had the worst run in with an angry hunter. Basically the guy thought I wasn’t allowed in the NF. I had 2 buddies with me fortunately who witnessed the whole thing, and while he cussed and screamed he walked away. That experience really made me realize how unhinged people can be. I had a bow, he had a rifle. And he seemed like the kind of person that would use it on someone else.

I really enjoy your channel! It's like if Steve Rinella was an overlander. You have a very similar feel to your videos as the meat eater series he hosts. Also, your way of narrating is very similar to Steve as well. Again, I really enjoy your channel and appreciate the effort you put into these amazing videos. Thanks! - Nick

I have a 2013 FJ with 70,000 km (43,000 miles). Some features standard in the Australian market but not the US are the 160L (42 gallon) fuel tank and the sat nav head unit. Awesome car, even in 2023. Mine is even still covered by Toyota extended warranty to 2027 can you believe 😂

The human story and our association with these kinds of things is pretty fascinating. We could use a little bit of wisdom from ancient people and their practices. It would likely help our society drastically.

Hey Tyler… after a rainstorm do you just air out your tent the next morning, or air it out when you get home? Any strategies for RTT’s after rain? Just curious… Always love the footage bro.
@IndependenceOverland
@IndependenceOverland Год назад
Thanks as always for stopping by! I usually give myself around 5 days before I’m concerned with the tent. I just wait until the next dry day and pop it open, and leave the windows open. Usually it’s just the outside I’m drying, but I will also usually turn my fan on inside to circulate air in there as well.

@@davidrucci do you have a diesel heater? You can pipe one of those suckers in the window and seal everything up, and it would dry it from the inside out in the cooler months.
