Nobody would have explained concept in such a easy way like you . Even though there was involvement of writing such a long query , i didnt feel stuck anywhere . Please keep doing this type of Sql and python real world project . Thank you Angelina.
Thanks to the informative videos with much knowledge. But in 17:28 when you checked duplicate values and executed SELECT * FROM dup_check WHERE dup_flag = 1 The result was 392,667 rows but you noted that it had 397,667 rows. I am not sure that you are wrong, but can you check again this point?
It is a very useful and helpful video. I love how you explain every step you do. I try to mimic you by using MySQL, but in MySQL cant inserting forward to temporary tables using #, Do you have any suggestion how to do it in MySQL? Thanks
Hi, it is a great video. Thank you for sharing the practical knowledge with us. However, I would like to bring to your notice that I am unable to download the data sheet from the website mentioned in the video. Can you please help me in this regard, so that I can also perform the practical analysis.

The cohort index represents the tenure in months, indicating how long the customer has been with the retailer or engaged with the product since their first purchase. A value of 1 means the customer made a purchase in the same month as their first purchase. This value was added when converting the first purchase date into months.
Amazing content always! I've gone over this but I still need clarity; If a customer's Cohort_index is 1, does that mean they made their second next purchase(s) in the month they made the first purchase or the second month?
Yes it means they made their second purchase in the first month, Try to study the concepts of customer retention, net dollar retention, life time value You’d understand things clearly
Thank God I came across this video. Very insightful! I love how you were straight to the point, but also knowing when to chip in some explanations for clarity sake. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. I know this video has been out a while, but I have only just discovered it. You explain this concept in such a clear and concise way and I really appreciate that !
Hi, please help! When I do percent of total in tableau it doesnt treat the first column as 100%. What can I do to fix this? It takes the whle row and finds the percent each col is in the row.
Can't thank you enough for sharing this type of knowledge. I am trying to become a data analyst and your tutorials have been the best I have found accross all RU-vid. I hope you keep on sharing your insights because they are super valuable!
Hi, Angelina thanks for posting such an insightful video. Can we connect on Microsoft teams? I have a data set where I need to perform weekly cohort retention analysis.
Wow this is just what I needed, I was struggling how to get started with retention analysis and tableau. Luckily I found this video, what a gem! Thank you Angelina! I just have one question, in 40:59, you did something that instantly generate the code for the 13 unique indexes, how did you do it?
Another way to import the flat file without going through visual studio is to use power query on the data range in the Online Retail file and remove blanks from each column. When importing, I had to change the data types on the smallint's to INT and it all loaded great. Your combined SQL and tableau projects are the best on youtube and hope to see many more of them
Hello Angelina, it is a wonderful project but I can insert CSV data sit in SQL it shows me this error can you help me with it? Error inserting data into table. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Prose.Import.SDS) Column 'Description' does not allow DBNull.Value. (System.Data)
Change the data types of Quantity to bigint since it contains one big number and unit price into numeric since it contains negatives in the destination table .Then it works
