California used to be an oasis with brown bears, elk and many other species. It's a shame to see what has happened and how nature was treated. Become a conservationist and help keep these great natural monuments here!!!

Whaaat??? Lmao!! I’m a native Californian and this is how Lake Owens has always been for as long as I can remember! The northern part of the state is not desert and has brown bears and oasis. Ever heard of Yosemite? Lake Tahoe? Lake Tahoe is nice and full. As well as a few other lakes in northern and central CA. The area of Lake Owens averages 0.35” of rain per year. It’s basically a desert. That’s the diversity of California’s beautiful landscape. Desert in the south, beaches/oceans to the west, forest up in the northern and central part of the state as well as our food basket of the world. The Central Valley.
@californiamade5608
@californiamade5608 Год назад
But yes I am aware of how the lake dried up. But it’s our harsh reality for water usage. Image if California was never as overpopulated as it is now? The large amount of lakes and water we would have next to our mountain ranges and in land. It would be beautiful. Even the Tulare lake bed in the Central Valley, once the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi, is now dried up since 1910 from water being diverted for agriculture with dams put up in the mountains. The water would come down naturally from the Sierra Nevada mountains here in CA. Giving the valley rich soil, amongst the best in the world for farmland. As it is today. But the drought as we know it is threatening a lot of farmland.

No conservationists are becoming a problem to ecosystems all over the world. There’s too many people trying to save “endangered animals” and it’s stopping the evolution of animals. We need to let everything just take it’s course. And no there’s really nothing we can do to kill all the animals because there’s atleast two extinction level events that have happened and here they are. Ex. Wooly mammoth - elephant Animal didn’t die off, it left a legacy and it will happen with the animals we know and love today.

FYI: I ALWAYS WATCH TO THE VERY END ! SIN CITY OUTDOORS IS IN MY PERSONAL TOP TEN OF ALL Y/T CHANNELS ! I enjoy watching the diverse content with the perfect overtones of being THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL ! From your travels to ghost towns, to reporting on the current impact of less water in the Colorado River watershed and reservoirs, to your historical landmarks and research. Its all very, VERY refreshing to view. Now you have me frothing at my proverbial mouth when you mention that Julian drew a Nevada Bull Elk tag.... yeefreakinghaw !, LETS GO ! I love it! I'm a very young 61 at heart, ( I know, it sounds old, even to me) as mentally I feel 35 ! Lol ! I've had 3 spinal fusion surgeries in the past 6 years.... so I don't rather, I'm unable to hunt anymore, not a pity party, instead, switching gears to watch fresh talent as in your entire family, scout and call those bulls in ! Super stoked to see your whole hunt. You, your super squared away Dad, brother and I'm certain other friends and family are absolutely 💯 killing it ! And hopefully an Elk too. Wishing you all continued success and all of your fam,. the very best. Warmest Regards from Arizona

Man this water shortage really is concerning. Where I live it’s near the Salton Sea and unfortunately it’s salty and unusable. Too much water is going to the metropolitan areas. These cities need to stop growing and or put more restrictions on water usage. We here in the Imperial Valley really depend on the water from the Colorado river because of the agriculture. Thank you for your very informative content. God Bless you guys. And wishing you great fishing.

I first heard about the Cerro Gordo mines a couple months ago when (at your recommendation) Heavy D Sparks helped that guy "Craig", who was stuck on a sand bar in Lake Mead, and he helped Craig 'refloat' his boat. I have been a fan of his ever since. Well, Heavy D just likes to help people who need it. Brent, at Cerro Gordo needed help getting the hotel re-construction started a year after it burned down. So, Heavy D brought heavy equipment, an excavator, 40,000 gallon water tank and a bunch of men to help install it. They hauled over a million pounds of stuff up that sketchy road you saw. And yes, it did wash out twice from flash floods. You should check the videos Heavy D posted on the project if you haven't already. I think there are 7 or 8 of them. Brent got a lot help on his hotel from Heavy D. It was fun to watch and learn about the Cerro Gordo mining area history. So, I'm now subscribed to Ghost Town Living as well. Check it out and have fun. -Bodrie

If you guys ever want to travel north, come take a look at Trinity County CA. We have the Trinity River, Trinity Lake, and Lewiston Lake, all within 5 miles of each other. We have salmon (coho in fall and spring runs), trout, (rainbows, browns) steelhead, bass and some cats in Trinity Lake.

Try washing the radiator out on your truck and possibly even change the coolant if it's old, that could help with the over heating.

They want everyone to leave California so that they can come in and buy the land. They devalue it and buy at the lower price. Follow the money.
