We have travelled the farthest North that we have even gone since coming to Galiano Island. The Ecological Conservation area provides 3 main and beautiful walking tracks that take you to 4 beautiful location's. The Cliffs, Crystal Cove, Crystal Bluffs and Tranquillity Bluffs. To see all 4 locations you can complete a roughly 4.5 km loop track which is well worth it. The views are stunning and the locations live up tp their names.
This location also provides a learning centre with classes about sustainable living, growing and cultivating. I beileve they also run off all sustainable energy. They have gardens as well as grow houses. If you come to Galiano Island this is a must for a daily activitie. Their are also picnic areas and seats along the track for those whom need a rest every now and again.
