In this episode we head south, off-road on amazing gravel trails towards the Mediterranean Sea through the mountainous area known as the Alpes-Maritimes that straddles the Italian and French border.
Lots of huge abandoned forts from both the first and second World War cover much of the high alpine area and are accessible by off-road vehicles.
My name is Dave and this is the third episode of our epic 8 part, 4000KM Overland family adventure with my fiancee, Maria and our pet dog Taksimo as we travel in our personal Segway Powersports SX10 X Side-by-side off road vehicle chasing the best trails Western Europe has to offer.
