My favorite overlanding videos have a variety of vehicles. Watching 10 Jeeps go over the same obstacle gets boring. Watching 6, 7, 8 different types of vehicles is interesting to me to see what they are all capable of doing. This was such a cool collection of off-roaders. Great video.

Spending the night with 5 jeeps, and our wives, trying to get to the top of Beasley Knob GA with one working winch and wet muddy incline littered with boulders the whole way up. It was both stressful and exhausting, but made for some epic stories to be told later.

Branches like that are why I carry a small Ryobi chainsaw in my rig when I go off road. It's not gonna clear a major tree that fell across the trail but it'll work for smaller branches like this.

Boy, it looks like you’re having a lot of fun out there. I wish we had stuff like that on the East Coast. Good luck with your keto diet. Likely, we have both gone on a keto diet for different reasons, but it has done me a world of good. Last October I weighed 350 pounds at 6’3” and would almost die walking up the stairs in my house. Seven months later I weigh 220 pounds and I run 5 to 6 miles a night. I also do not eat anything processed anymore. I can’t tell you how much better I feel how much better my life is in every way since losing weight. Keep the adventures coming!

I cut a hole in one of the screens on my Gazelle since the window can still close and I have 7 more, ran a wood stove pipe right out on a 45*. Got the Winnerwell medium with the windows...works amazing. I was at 18* in Prescott and it was 80 inside the tent. I wrapped the awning edge in tri-folded alum foil to keep it from melting but it never even got warm with the stove pipe centered out the window. Also folded the floor back on the stove corner so it was just sitting on the dirt. Love my Gazelle, so versatile and sturdy as hell.

Great video as always! We love being out in the Alamo Lake area! We keep an RV at Wayside Oasis and spend the winter exploring the area with SXS and Jeeps! Come back out next winter and we will take you to some great trails & sights! BTW - we spent a good amount of time trying to clear all the brush along the trail after you leave Palmarita Ranch guess we didn't clear high enough to clear all the rooftop tents, etc.

One of my favorite videos of yours. I fly my Cessna from Vegas to Phoenix often and fly right over the Hualapai Mtns. There’s a trail that follows the ridgeline. I’m wondering if that’s the trail you guys are going to take. Also, Alamo Lake is my halfway point landmark that I use. Did you know it’s a Bald Eagle breeding ground? It’s marked on my aviation charts as such to ensure that we maintain 2000’ of ground clearance in the area. Anyway, great video. Can’t wait for the second part.

Those zip ties come in handy, they also work quite well to keeper wires away from things that can melt or destroy them, something one should think about before hitting the trails. But then hindsight is always 20/20, but on the other hand you all are experienced wheels. Right?!

Worst(best?) adventure ever? 2004 Montrose Colorado, Die Trying. Half way up our buddy had his planetaries leave the solar system in his transfer case. We pull the grenaded back half and drive out to the tow rigs and get a spare that someone happened to have. Drive back in, install, then complete the trail again. We got back to camp at 4 AM. Good times.
