Heather and I really enjoyed our visit to the Musée de l'Hydraviation in Biscarosse, France. It is a unique and interesting museum showcasing the history of flying boats, seaplanes and hydraviation.
The museum has an aircraft hangar filled with examples of vintage seaplanes. If you or your children have ever watched "Porco Rosso", the classic 1992 Japanese animated adventure-fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, then you'll be fascinated by this seaplane museum.
For information about this seaplane museum, please visit the Musée de l'Hydraviation website at www.hydravions-biscarrosse.com/
Thank you to the Bug Killer Production RU-vid Channel for your many wonderful videos of vintage aircraft. I created part of the audio for this (non-monetised) video by sampling some of the audio from their video of a Grumman Albatross HU-16B.
