Nice one Dan, your bad days are half a seasons hits for me. Theres absolutely no course fishing in Northumberland. The River systems are heavily leant towards game fishing trout and salmon when they run. There is no roving to find new waters. The only river i know of for predator fishing is probably the upper Tyne but again its a club water. Even the local Stillwater's,only two i know of have a pike population. Really crappy area to live for coarse fishing. Watching yous and a couple of others on YT is my way of making up for the poor fishing around me. Tight lines bro 🤠

Getting a pedal kayak at the end of the year, can't wait to get out in it I've so many waters I can't fish from the bank. I got the smaller kofe shads they're awesome got 5 last night on one of them, it was being held together with superglue and a prayer must get the bigger versions. The poachers mustn't be too good where you live, I have a lake beside me that was fishing well for big roach went after the weekend I heard. There where scales and guts everywhere! I didn't know you could eat roach, those people are scum!

What's the score with using a kayak? I looked into it and it said I needed a boat license and insurance boat licence seemed the same as fishing licence just pay a fee but it came back 695 for the year so didn't go any further it just not sure if I understood it correctly thanks in advance

Maybe we could set up watch schemes where local anglers patrol at regular intervals and call the police or EA when they see poaching going on. I have a strong suspicion my local river's been poached.

Do you guys not have fish&boat police in the UK? Here in the states every body of water is patrolled by a fish/boat police and if you get caught poaching its a crazy fine (something like 1500$ a fish) and they can confiscate your boat and car forever, as well as maybe jail time.
