WELCOME BACK!! Todays video we explore all of Saigon also widely known as Ho Chi Minh city, vietnams largest city and definitely not one to miss out on visiting! If you enjoyed todays video please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE :) XO
Saigon is where I was born. But I'm Australian citizen now. My family out cause of the communist invasion of Saigon and renamed the city. But it will always be Saigon to me. Glad it is your favourite city.👍😌
I think if you were to ever go back, do a food tour in each of the cities you visit as you'll get a much better experience (although they probably wont' do it during Lunar New Year as a lot of places will be closed). MomDuty and "Flora and Note" got really good food tour guides in Hanoi and another couple last year got a really good one in Hoi An. If you avoid pork, then you're missing out on a lot of good Vietnamese food as they know how to do pork well there like com tam, banh xeo, etc. Da Lat and Sa Pa are also very popular to visit.
The guy got it wrong, the river run through Saigon (HCMC) is Saigon river not Mekong river. That wealthy area in Thu Thiem is called Sala (a flower) it is a new urban development that's why it's so clean. Together Thu Thiem + District 2 + District 9 will form Thu Duc city. A city within a city. A lot of wealthy people live in Phu My Hung area in district 7 and District 2
Hi guys, I accidentally stumbled on to your Phu Quoc and then this video in Saigon and I'm glad that I did. I was borne there but escaped in 1975 after the fall of Saigon and now residing in Southern California. My wife and I are planning to move back there to retire someday due to the cost of living is so much cheaper. Regarding to the pink church. The color pink was there when I was a little boy. My two older sisters went to school there. That is the school for girls only and that is why they used pink as their color. I went to different school for boy. I guess it Catholic thing lol. I hope you all enjoyed your trip there. We are apologizing if anything that had caused you all unhappy or unease. Be safe and be wise travelers! Dino and Ann from USA
Hello 😊 Wow i’m SO happy you have told me that, i would never have guessed the history of the church and why the colour is pink and that’s amazing info! We enjoyed our trip to Vietnam so much to learn the history and culture, thanks again for dropping into my comments, if you end up watching any of my other Vietnam videos let me know what you think😊
One advice is to normalize volumes on both speech and music. The music is extremely loud that I had to immediately turn down volume and had to turn it up high to hear you guy talks after music. For food vlog or tour vlog you don't really need music, I prefer to hear the sound of the city or foods that your eating. Overall, good video, will continue to follow your adventures.
Thank you so much for the advice! i love hearing things i can improve on for the quality of my videos! And once again thanks for continuing to follow our adventures 😊
