@taylorsaunderss In your video, you said you missed or didn't do a lot of excursions for each island you were on, and the ones you did do, you were ripped off. As someone who has travelled the Philippines, even the way you travelled around the Philippines, it just seemed a bit haphazardly and unorganised, without doing perhaps as much research as is needed in the Philippines, which you kind of point out in hindsight in your video, hence me saying "you did your research when you got home" in a jovial no-malicious way hence the laughing emoji. Just an observation. Bet you still had fun.👍👌
As much I want to visit there, what puts me off is the people ripping people off! If you want people to go there stop ripping tourist off it really puts a bad word and won’t like to go there. And government should govern that. They don’t realised without tourist you won’t make money. So please! Stop ripping people off! And given your self a bad name. Make sure you do your research or asked local or others with kayak how much they paid.
I agree with you!! It does suck knowing there’s always the chance that you are going to be ripped off my locals selling things to tourist because most of the time we don’t know what the price should be! It’s all trial and error for tourist to learn how to either bargain or ask locals for their opinions on prices etc!
We’ve heard they are at that beach and also at certain times of the year, it’s not a very nice beach for swimming especially since beautiful beaches are only a 10 minute boat ride away!
Yes ripped off considering people were being charged 50 pesos back and forth. we didn’t complain, we were willing to pay we were just letting people know that others had been charged a fraction of what we were charged.
If you want to try in Manila, I suggest try to vlog street foods. Most subscriber in Philippines like to watch street foods specially in Manila.. Also I recommend Baguio, crowded and traffic but a lot of fun...
Whale sharks are just like bloggers. Whale sharks go where the is food, in the same way bloggers go where there is content to be made. Nobody is forcing anyone or anything to do anything.
Welcome!!😃 and Yes he wouldn’t run the meter which we found out later we got scammed and because we couldn’t get a sim card there was no way for us to book a Grab! 👎
Please try ‘pagpag’. It is the official national dish of the Philippines 😁 It is a common and staple dish in every household in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Proud to be Pinoy ❤️🇵🇭
Nice video, it's truly beautiful there. Suggest you rent a private boat, cost little more but then you avoid the masses of people and you can decide how long to stay on each place and so on. I went earlier than the groups to the lake so was only a few of us there. Hope the place won't be destroyed by tourism.
Thank you, and it truly is an amazing country! We also suggest doing a private boat it’s much better but for only the 2 of us…it was out of our price range!! I also hope that with all the tourism in such beautiful places that it doesn’t destroy them or the creatures in their natural habitats!
You guys should go next( vocation to the Philippines ) to Mambukal Mountain Resort 4.4 Resort hotel. The address G463+WRP, Negros Occidental Minoyan, Murcia, Murcia, Philippines and they rebuild the resort and you can also climb up to see the waterfalls , take a selife their and do also a daytrip or spend the night and the cabins and one section you can put your feet in the water and the fishes kisses your feet and you can bring your own food to eat too .
❤ I really love this video, lots of information thank you. Also, Happy to see you guys I will go to the Philippines for the 1st time in two weeks. Always enjoying watching your videos. Keep going please
The next time you go to the Philippines, you go to the most beautiful island in the Philippines called Batanes. I swear, it's avatar breathtaking island. The island is sort of like IRELAND AND SCOTLAND ONLY IN TROPICAL SETTING. RU-vid it, see it for yourself. By the way, it will take you many years and a load of money before you can even see half of the 7,600 islands. Every island in the Philippines has some kind of variation. See the rain forest, the rolling rivers, the water falls, the volcanos, hot springs as well as the greenery of the mountains.
Thanks for the tips! Batanes sounds beautiful!! We’re so excited to visit the Philippines again and explore some of the beautiful islands and locations we weren’t able to see this month!! 🙌
You are missing 50% travel spots, local and international food spots, international sports and music events, local hip party scene, historical locations and better modern city skyline views at night to checkout if you skip Manila. There are also not so crowded, quiet, relaxing white/cream/black sand beaches with crystal clear waters, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving spots, island hopping and mountain destinations in the northern main island of Philippines that most foreign tourist doesn't know about. There are also places in Luzon that were set location for international movies, TV series Brand Ads. [ex. Survivor USA TV reality show, Platoon, Bourne Legacy, The Avengers infinity war, Red Bull Ad wakeboarding on Banaue Rice Terraces] There are stuff that you can only find in Manila that aren't available on the remote islands far from the Capital region of PH specially international brands, tech stuff, clothing and western/international food spots. As foreigners you should also learn to bargain your way to avoid getting charged for higher prices for everything.
We ate SO many local foods and visited MANY more places than we mentioned in the video, we couldn’t explain every single spot we went in an entire month travelling a country, that being said we did miss a lot of places and are learning from a ton of comments like yours, where we want to visit the next time we visit the Philippines! We would love to get involved with locals and visit their houses and shops and really dive deep into the Philippine culture! I really appreciate all the information you provided and it’s going to help with our list of places to visit when we head back to the Philippines! 🇵🇭😊

There's a beach in Palawan that not many people go to and it's nice.... sshhhhhh 🤫 Anyways i have a feeling that the more foreigners that move or goto the Philippines then it's going to get more pricier. Heck it may not even be a 3rd world country anymore . Maybe a good or bad thing i'll let people decide . 🤷♂🤷♂
there are so many hidden gems in the philippines!! 🙌 And i also agree with more tourists means more money coming into the country and prices will rise! Not sure if it’s good or bad for Filipinos but as a tourist coming into the country we try to tip locals and show off everything we can to let them know how much we appreciate the country!!
Next time you come back, when will it be and where else would you go beside Balabac ? I know you haven't tried lots but maybe visit Paolyn Houseboats in Coron or Apulit Miniloc Island! it is very steep in price right now, but sometimes you gotta pamper yourself ... The Paolyn Houseboats is probably more reasonable :). @@taylorsaunderss
Yes treating yourself once in a while is always needed when travelling! Were thinking mainly Manila, Balabac, Tao expeditions from Coron to El nido and taking recommendations on other amazing places to visit our next time!
@@taylorsaunderss Right on! Have you ever noticed cashiers or sales people when it comes to items being sold out.? the cashier will show her biggest dramatic puppy dog sad and face and say, "Sorry ma'am, but we don't have anymore bread." 😆
