Yes interesting to see what is moving the Art scene. The First “ Living in excess “ seems to be a celebration of “nonlife” … in every way expressing a sadness …. But then of course you can hope that Nature Will grow Wild again and again because the basic of Life is the joy of Life …. Maybe leaving all of us with the innocent Hope of #rewilding #reenchantment #biodiversity 💚💚💚

One of the things I enjoy about walking around in Paris is all of the small street art pieces scattered about. I especially like hunting for Invader pieces, which are usually up a little higher on the buildings. I didn't notice any Invader pieces in this video, but I really liked the fun piece on the corner of the building at about the 14:25 mark of the video.

Tavares Strachan was far and away my favorite. I had never heard of this artist. But this is my favorite kind of art - beautiful, highly skilled, but also deeply meaningful, even haunting. Just wow. Vaughn Spann, another artist totally new to me, was amazing as well. Thank you!!!

Great show, my favourites were Belanger and Strachan, especially Strachan, very powerful and emotional works. I'm going to do more research on these two artists. As always, love your videos and look forward to the next one.

In Ivan Argote’s paintings, I see a kinship with Kay Sage’s muted and stark landscapes. That said, to say that I love your curated presentation of established and new artists is an understatement! Through each video, I can experience a vast array of artistic visions and experiences. Your videos always invoke that art itself is a passionate expression of life. Thank you so much for your all that you do!

This was a great video, I absolutely enjoyed all of the art. There was actually a Vaughn Spann piece the "X" one at the North Carolina Museum of Art and I saw it. All and all I like watching your videos.

If art describes the psyche of it's time ......we are definitely in a joyless cultural vacuum at the end of a civilization.

Actually how you think of your self is what you will vibe to others, and that will build up how others see you.

Some important concepts and your commentary was informative . Maybe not enough of a visceral hit, for me, in the work highlighted. Perhaps too much of the toy or sweet shop, objects easily consumed. Doesn't Kiefer's work say a lot about historical artifacts and their transition but the process is tormented (because history is contested?). A handsome video though allowing us access to new experiences.

The difference between a midwife and a nurse is: the first helps with a birth the other with illness. And that is precisely what reflects the relationship between art and culture. I think you are a good nurse. When do you start to talk about art?

So probably not clear to the viewers, or actually myself, but it looks like Longo is copying other artists work from the Post WW2 era. Also Longo does not execute most of these drawings. He hires assistants to do so.
