I was born in Stirling and was living and working there for a while until recently (I've now moved to Perth.) Yeah Stirling is a lot like a wee Edinburgh! I walked through the town centre every day when I was there so all very familiar! You found it a lot more exciting than I usually did!

Amazing how you are so comfortable going up to complete strangers and say HI in your usual confident and friendly manner. Equally amazing how the locals were very friendly toward YOU and did not shy away from the camera, but then when you treat them with respect, you get respect back. Even the pooch looked pleased to see you, with its tail wagging.
Eddy you MUST go to Campsie Glen just once I beg you, if you like hills and the nature of Scotland this ones amazing if you scale up it! Sorry for commenting this twice now 🤣 there's also a place nearby called Lennox castle that some folk say is haunted with quite a dark history too if you look it up, it could make for a nice day! 🙂 Also theres a trail with a large rock called the lions mound nearby too, the heat from magma flow can be felt a little on it too i think! Lennoxtown is the local town you could rest up at for snacks etc, and CEltic training ground is nearby you can go up and look at it and even meet one of the players lol if youre lucky! sometimes they would be around just a walk when i was a lad etc xD
