Exploring Symbolism in Roblox Horror Games

Templum inundatio and Turris Ascensionem are two surreal Roblox horror games made by venomshank40, in a similar style to MUGEN. These Roblox games tend to actually have some deep symbolism in them, which is why I discuss them in this video.

thx for playing my games both of those games are pretty old so i agree with the quality on some being kind of meh lol i kept the crashing gimmick as that is what the first ever superball game does and i wanted it to be consistent with it since venomshank is also apart of superball ur analysis of the lore for both is pretty close, turris main symbolism is regarding suicide and self doubt while templum was just my first "surrealist" roblox game i ever made so i didnt really have much lore for it other then the basics of "yggdrasil eat water buddy because he's plant" and yargslog is a reference to an inside joke lol

basw recommended them to me in november and I never got around to them for some reason. Loved templum it was really cute. Also have your upcoming game favourited and can't wait to see how it turns out

i am currently planning on remaking Templum actually tho no clue if i'll ever finish but thank you for enjoying my games i like when people actually play and make content on them since thats usually rare also currently mainly cooking up an april fools game for fun that im curious to see how people will think of it lol @@Breadian

venomshank40 is actually an alias by a man named draggy, a roblox developer who made the famous bendy rp (now closed), and is now making another game that looks just like this.

Breadian finally covers one of my favorite games! Draggy, owner of the venomshank account has a few other games, though they don't possess the old roblox aesthetic. He has a cardd which you can go to find all his games, renders of characters, and general lore stuff. Glad you liked the venom games, though I can admit they have their flaws. I used to see inanimatum as way more of a death-incarnate villain before taking one look at his character sheet and seeing the actual lore for him lol.

Ye I really liked templum because I was a big fan of cosmic horror growing up. It’s refreshing to see a Roblox horror game with an easy to understand plot, yet one that rewards you for thinking beyond it.

your theory on turis ascensionism is very good, the constant monotomy of a lot of peoples daily work lifes and having no time or just focusing it all on work, making you forget the important things in life such as connection and hobby's. also reupload? what was changed?

however, they arent that related to MUGEN. they are based of some old robloxian styles mixed with horror adventures. example: Turris Ascensionem have studs on the walls. and also has old animation walk. even VENI has styles of old roblox. venomshank40 is actually a alt of Draggyy if you just dug on their profile a little deep! There is also unreleased games from venomshank40. However there is a specific group you can ONLY access by steps in the description, that is D&F: AC one. Superball 64 might be lore of venomshank40. You might find some parts of the lore, if you dug deep only.

VENOMSHANK40!! also the water character you're playing as (water buddy) really wants to help people and yggdrasil can't move so yggdrasil used his moss people to lure more water buddies in to grow more inanimatum is symbolism of going through hard times, you either get through it (the ending) or die

Ive been playing draggyys games for a while now but damn this video was an eye-opener to the lore in his games. I knew there was lore but i never took the time to analyze the ideas in his games. But now that you have analyzed a few of his games, its super interesting!

I have a zombie game to share with you, called Valor fps. Unlike other Roblox zombie games, the map is original and all the weapons are based of WW2 and are extremely accurate. I'm trying to make like these types of games that ressemble mugen or venomshank's games but it'll be a mix of retro old roblox and like uhh new roblox i guess, and dont don't worry im not stupid enough to the point where every second you touch your block you have to pull task manager, i'm pretty sure i won't add blocks that crash your game.
