Kelp grows around islands just offshore - sail around and look for patches of floating leaves then cut them up. Or you could put a grabber on your boat and salvage crates from the deep - plenty of kelp in those. And every time you get on your boat the right edge of the screen tells you how to turn your sail

i wasnt convinced till the end of the last vid. looks pretty sweet though. something about the town and npc make it stand out

There's a door to a little room with a treasure chest on the pirate towers that you are missing. It's on the level below the cannons.

that island isnt meant to be visited till you build the flying boat.the hermit is where you need to get the stuff to kill the first titan .going way out of order.but its ok,interesting approach i guess.

@PartiallyRoyal I would like to state that you can make yellow crystal lanterns that repel the water and secondly you can just make a blue crystal sickle to harvest fire grass without them blowing up. So yeah those lanterns you keep finding near those hostile survivors are actually lanterns that repel the water or at least that was how it was before not sure if they removed that feature to make it more difficult but I had played this while visiting a friend a while back during beta testing. Tried making a base in the middle of the water cause rats and crabs didn't bother us in the water but once the tide got too high it ended up swallowing us anyways. Also if you just hold shift you can change your sails direction to be able to catch the wind easier.

Love this game I’m wondering if like dnd skeletons might be vulnerable to hammers and bludgeoning attacks looking forward to more vein and breakwaters fun thanks mate

Is there not a way you can build a camp fire in this game to at least roast the raw meat on?? Would definitely help and give more health back I can only assume

I bought this game after Ep 1 and I LOVE it. I just want to be able to sail like you!!! I'd like to ask though, your title says "dead survival", what does that mean? I'm hoping to all hell that doesn't mean the game is no longer being worked on?! 😮

I have been playing this a couple of days and just built the first 3 ships and have been exploring. This game is so fun

extremely satisfying and unique survival/craft game. when you got the hawk so creative. great devs, great ideas. like how this guy can show you so much of what a game has to offer and he's damn good at it too👍💯

Entirely love your commentary thank-you-very-much. One thought I had instead of parkour spider island is the rock base is so far back ,the angle of stairs would be a straight run to the top. Can't wait till you take out the mutant ninja turtle titans.

Hey Jerod. Love the vids. I been playing this and learned a lot from your game play thanks. However, the kelp can be seen on top of water.

I purchased this when it first came out and it had a tonne of promises and a tonne of problems, as far as I know it's only got one developer behind it now. But it's working a lot better than it used to.

Tip when riding your boat: hold shift and use the WSAD keys to turn your sails that way you wont zigzag while you ride it

Looks like so much fun! Maybe try throwing an antiwater bomb when you are out in the ocean at a spot with sparkles? maybe there will be kelp there?
