I live in Rehoboth Beach, and I'll say: the traffic is insane! It's a really good thing that you guys chose to bike! And I'm glad you guys enjoyed your time in Delaware! ^^
We were in Ocean City, MD on Friday. Thought about going into Deleware on Sat before heading home but decided not to. Now I wish we had. But we had a 2 day drive to get home. Oh well. Maybe next time.
I grew up in Delaware and spent time every summer (and still do) in the Rehoboth Beach area. You did a phenomenal job showing highlights of the history and gorgeous geography of the area, not to mention the delights of Thrasher's fries!! Thank you for visiting one of my favorite places! New subscriber here....and we have a friend in common!
When you stop through Maine again you should take the peaks island ferry and explore Battery Steele! It’s an abandoned military base on the island, and it’s so fun to get a flashlight and get in there! Greeting from Portland, ME!
That sounds like a ton of fun! We won't have time for it on this trip unfortunately. We're focusing most of our time on the states we haven't visited. We definitely want to spend more time in Maine in the future though. It's one of our favorite states in the Northeast! Thanks for those recommendations!
Delaware is definitely not a state that comes to mind when I’m thinking of vacation. This is was such a fun and cute vlog though…and there were French fries!!! I’m a sucker for fries! My mouth is literally watering right now thinking about it! Glad you had such a good time and got to see dolphins! Adam you made my day with “pillowy”. 😁 Good to see Kona as well. 😊
It wasn't for us either! It was a nice, relaxing time though! Those french fries were the bomb! I've come across a decent amount of pillowy foods lately! Thanks, Brad!
Hello Adventurers, I see that your not to far from New England! I love Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City as I have lots of relatives in the region. Hey WAIT...you didn't share your delicious fries for us...NOT FAIR😊😊😊!! I'm looking forward for your trip to New England...and especially Rhode Islands beautiful coastline...and especially NEWPORT! OUTSTANDING Kathryn & Adam!!
Loved this video! As a native delawarean who lives and works in the Rehoboth Beach / Lewes area, you definitely picked the right place (and the right time of year) to visit! You got some good highlights - Taco Reho & Thrashers are classics, but there is soooooo much more awesomeness to explore here!
So fun to see you around places where I grew up going to!! And, to see you both enjoying a slower pace (at least it appears that way...) there. How fun to start and end a day on the beach, right? Glad you had nice weather, even if the ocean was cold. Back on bikes again, too, but maybe a little different from Vietnam. ;) You were SO CLOSE to Cape May - hope you get there another time someday. And Thrasher's really are the best - glad you tasted that delicacy before the birds got ya!! Also, I'm totally Team Burnt Cheese....on anything, really!! Thanks again for sharing - makes me wanna get to the beach soon!!
We had a fantastic time in Delaware! It was a pleasant surprise! We rode the ferry over to Cape May and then drove through, but didn't spend much time. It looked nice though! Thrasher's was top notch!
Glad you enjoyed your time there. I know all those areas very well. Hopefully you got to try some Grottos Pizza! If you had been there in July you could have gone to the DE State Fair which is big in lower DE. Are you guys taking the Ferry over to NJ as you head north?
Great video thanks for visiting my home state of Delaware hope you enjoyed it! I look forward to you next videos including the eastern Canadian Provinces for some trip ideas!
Glad to hear you’re taking it “a little bit easier!” This was great; I didn’t know anything about Delaware. Growing up, there was a small amusement park we would go to and they served vinegar on the French fries; I really liked them! That was the only place I ate them like that.
@@1h1oh34 Yes. Where I work I have to run people’s fast food out to their parking spaces and lately the sea gulls have been getting more brave. One tried to swoop near me but I held the bag close and stared it down and it veered away. But I also like to feed them sometimes (away from the restaurant so they don’t try to come in)

I'm in Northern Delaware and spent a lot of time in Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. They call it Lower Slower Delaware. Taco Reho used to be a food truck. Best fish burrito. My favorite spot is The Point. Low tide and sunset allows you to walk in the tide pools. It's my happy place.
Delaware is another state that I would never think of intentionally going to for a vacation. But you make it look really great. These state tourism departments should be paying you big money
Loved all your videos ❤ the videos are very clear organized. Are you guys going to explore Asia more? You should add Indonesia, Korea and Japan to your bucket list.
Thanks! We can't wait to see more of Asia! Our trip to Vietnam and short times in Singapore and Thailand were life changing! Those 3 you mentioned are definitely on our list! Unfortunately we don't have any immediate plans to get there as of right now 😭
Love it when you go somewhere I've been. We do a week long family vacation every summer in Lewes and Cape Henlopen. My favorite thing is that exact bike ride to Rehoboth.
Cape Henlopen is nice- I especially like the bike ride to Rehoboth. We did a northeast lighthouse trip pretty recently but the Canadian borders were still closed at the time- so we made it up to the border and the eastern most point in the US- hugging the coast the whole way up. I think we took 3 ferries (including one to Nantucket) on that trip. I have a video of that trip if you're inclined to see our path.
My wife is from Maryland and has told me stories about Thrasher's Fries. She said she and her family would grab a bucket every summer when they visited the beach.
We really loved this one! Two of our best friends live in Rehoboth Beach! We have been there many, many times. When we picked up our 2022 Airstream at Colonial Airstream we took the Lewes Ferry from NJ and stayed at Cape Henlopen State Park and rode bikes on the same route as you! So fun, I sent your link to our friends to watch and they loved it! PS. We are at Muncho Lake….so beautiful!
@@hailslaton this place was awesome when i was a teenager but as i got older i realized its not for me,there are definitely some awesome places to visit but other than that its a cluster fuc
Fun fact....Your campfire wood was split and packaged by the inmates at the Sussex County Violation of Probation Center in Georgetown. It's one of the jobs that they do while serving their sentence.
LOL at Adam pretending to be the family >_< I'm wondering what y'all thought of the chicken tinga tacos. Have you had it before? its one of my favorites but can sometimes be a little spicy. As always, thanks for bringing us along!
Yay! Glad you all are back on the road! We’ve actually been watching your videos for quite a few years, but it was always on the TV - so now that I officially have my own RU-vid account I can comment to let you know how much we’ve enjoyed your travels. You’ve inspired us to check out many locations we would otherwise passed over. Thank you for sharing your journeys! ❤
Hopefully we're not too late, but when you're in Jersey, stop at Country Kettle Chowda in Long Beach Island. We recommend the New England clam chowder and the Lobster Bisque. Another good spot on that Island is the Delaware Avenue Oyster House which has an awesome Jersey chowder that has porkroll instead of bacon in it!
Hi! Yes we're long gone from Jersey (our videos are usually a few weeks delayed) and had a great time! Since we spent time at the beach in the Delaware video we decided to spend our time in Jersey more inland. Long Beach Island and Country Kettle Chowda look delish! Thanks for the recommendations!
We so enjoy your travels and often plan to visit places you visit, here in CONUS and afar. This time you explored where we were 2 yrs ago. Brought back many memories. The cannonball was there when we left ... promise!
It was so nice to see a part of Delaware…loved every minute of it!!! Those FRIES…how amazingly delicious looking! Another great video…keep traveling safe❣️😘❤️❤️❤️🐶🥰
Great video! You guys put out such great content! Looking forward to your massachusetts travels. Hope you make it to Boston. Its a pretty special place. Fyi new haven ct has some of the best pizza in the country if you go by it when you are in connecticut. Keep up the great work!
Love your videos and adventures, I have done lots myself too. I am originally from Atlantic Canada, if you need any help or suggestions for your adventures please don’t hesitate to reach out and have a blast!
Hello! We earn a living through our RU-vid videos and our blog. This blog post shares more about how we afford to travel! Thanks and thanks for watching! adventuresofaplusk.com/blog/travel-budgeting/
I appreciate the history information included! Visiting the first state this summer for the beachy getaway of my dreams, and my nerdy side is excited to see history now too!
I assume Jersey is next on the trip and I hope you got to visit the pine barrens. I also hope you mention our legend the jersey devil which our nhl team is named after. Anyway enjoy my home state it deserves more love then it gets
Folly Beach Sc and Myrtle are cheaper, the people are nicer, the food is better and the crime is lower. I've been to all of the above Delaware, never again
