Exploring the Differences Between the BIG 3 School Bus Manufacturers 

We had an alarm system on our buses starting in 95 in south carolina for safety after you close the door letting a child off. We don't have them anymore. But driving a bus with one for 20 years, when I close my door or see anyone else close there door I can hear the alarm going off without actually hearing it 😂. Even on this video when u hit switch I hear the tune. Idk why they stopped putting them on. I really miss them and they actually served a good purpose. Seemes as if the cars would even would wait until they see u pull off or alarm stops. It was helpful as it would give time for kid to get a few feet away from Bus before cars began to move again. And time for the ones who's not thinking and soon as they get off they remember they forgot something and turns back running. Now soon as door close the bus moves and cars and I don't like that. I do sit with my door open longer tho on some stops for that purpose to make sure the kid is heading to house and not about to turn back to the bus for some reason

These bus switches and buttons are so complicated. I have new appreciation for you guys : )
