What you have is a more rare first generation DTA360. The first-gen DTA360 was made only in 1987, and you can identify it by the injector pump piping all going up the right side of the pump instead of coming together in the center, and what's really cool is the aftercooler piping that goes to the full width aftercooler on the front of the radiator. The 360 and 466 shared these traits until 1988, however, your engine has the pointed valve cover end and raised ridges that all 360's have whereas the 466 has a straight valve cover end with indentions. That being said, yours is basically a manual tranny/2-speed rear version of my Bird tjat is in near-mint condition! Awesome acquisition! We have sister buses.
