Rachel and David spent an entire month in Italy! We traveled all over the country by train!
We spent a week in the Dolomite Mountains! We stayed in Selva di Val Gardena, South Tyrol. In this video, we take a gondola to the top of Dantercepies! We loved hiking around at the top, and the views were amazing! We also did one of our favorite hikes - Puez Chedul Ciampac to Forcella Cir! Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
David is a Travel Nurse, and Rachel is an Online Teacher. We have been traveling the USA and the world since we got married in September, 2016.
We will be posting more videos of our past and present adventures.

Ottimo video, è tutto una cartolina. Immagina d'inverno con metri di neve diventa surreale e magico.

The painting on that house is pretty! Always like to find a location on where you go up a cable cart. Wow those views are amazing just like they were in your part two video!

Actually Selva Val Gardena has three names, as shown by the welcome sign at 1:17. Besides The Italian and the German name, there is its real name in Ladino, which is the first and official language in Val Gardena. In fact in South Tirol there are officially used three languages: Italian, German and Ladino (plus an indefinite number of local dialects!)

Thank you for the information! I made that discovery later on in the trip, unfortunately. I clarified that in a later video. Thanks for watching!

Dear Rachel and David, I have enjoyed your videos and I'm glad to hear you have enjoyed my beautiful country. Just to be precise, in Val Gardena and Alta Badia the native language is Ladin, an old Rhaeto-Romance language that in different forms is also spoken in some valleys in Switzerland and across the Alpine Mountain Range. At 1:17 you can see the name of the village of Selva Val Gardena in Italian on the left, Wolkenstein (literally Stone of the Clouds) and Groeden (the name of the Valley) in German on the right and Selva Gherdeina (I miss the double dots or diaeresis on youtube) in Ladin on the bottom of the Panel, as well as the welcome sign on top (Benvenuti, Wilkommen, Benuni). Ciao from Italy!

Thank you for the insights! As I was making this video, I knew that the town title was also in Ladin, but I didn’t at the time of recording.. 😞. In a future video, I mention that after making the discovery. Thanks for your support! Glad you like the video! Ciao!

Hello!! We are going to Italy for a month as well next spring. Just curious…how much do you think the whole trip cost? We are trying to budget. Also, what equipment do you video with? iPhone or something else?
@TravelingGlossers
@TravelingGlossers 2 года назад
I don’t feel comfortable saying how much it cost on here, but I will say it wasn’t cheap. It was definitely a splurge. And all of it was filmed on an iPhone 12. Thanks for following our adventure and watching the videos!

@@TravelingGlossers I understand. Could you say if it was over or under $10,000. That’s what we are budgeting for

It was less than 10 grand. We tried to get the cheapest Airbnb’s we could - Airbnb’s are actually pretty reasonable in Italy compared to US.
