Pledged when there was only PO (1.8 build or 2.0, can't remember) and tried to play the game on the potato i had at the time. Remember a bug where pants disappeared and i had no idea how to put one back on. thankfully i was not alone. everybody else were running around in their undies. Didn't play SC again until 2 weeks before 3.18 hit. Lucky i still got to see and run around in it before it's gone.
Off topic, did you finally get sticks? Because it looks like you got sticks and I could have sworn a year ago you said something about probably not getting any.
Agreed with the others. My heart will feel all sorts of emotions if we come across this station way later on in the game as a legacy easter egg of sorts. it'll take me right back to the days of having everyone on the server spawning here and chaos ensuing.
We will always have Olisar. In our journey we travel away from the places that brought us joy, even if we ever return they would have changed. It is the memory that enriches and makes life worth the pain. We will always carry our journey, and every place we touched, within.
I remember the time when there was only Port Olisar and everyone was just waiting to spawn their ships, fly them for the first time and marvel at the gas giant Crusader. Ah yes, and I also remember the first time I exited through the airlock without a helmet and died instantly. Good times :')
Well that's just great. I use to play SC a lot accouple of years or so ago, somehow. I say somehow because my system is hardly enough to play it, I5 7500 (4 core 3.6ghz), GTX 1060 6gb, and 16 gigs of ram. I managed to run the game on mostly medium and low graphic settings, and had a lot of fun, but then they released an update that pretty much made it impossible for me to play as my game would lag severely when ever I loaded in. I'm really not sure what was lagging my game, could have been either my CPU or GPU, all I know is, I spent over $100 on the game knowing I could play it at min settings, and now I can't. I might have to try again some day to see if they optimized it, but I'm doubtful. It sad really, I liked this station, and have been on it many times and met up with friends when I went to crew their ships. Any reason why its being removed?
They've optimized the game quite a bit, so give it a shot. And I think they're getting rid of PO because it's simply outdated and in need of an update. So we're getting the station Seraphim instead. I'll miss PO though.
