I’m pretty sure that the fault of your little tumble in the Lynx Rover was due to the fact you picked a planet with low gravity wasn’t the vehicles fault that its mass was lighter. Maybe I’m not too sure as I am not a player of the game. I’m not entirely certain whether artificial gravity exists within the game and how it functions is there anything like the real thing I don’t know but this is just my observation.
Fun watch first-time viewer. I noticed the heavy lag on your game play. I'd recommend checking out Lossless Scaling on Steam. This software will basically insert frames, which will make the game experience smoother. There are tons of great reviews and videos about it on YT. Hope I get to play with you on the verse sometime and keep up the great work :-).
I really don't get the Mastermode drama. Combat was always intended to only happen at SCM speed. That is what it stands for: Standart Combat Maneuvering speed. And if you are not doing combat, it doesn't effect you. Exploration and trading can be done completely in NAV mode. With the next patch even mining and salvage. And no, you do not need shields in NAV mode. Attackers will not suddenly appear right next to you within firing range. Yes, it needs some tuning, epsecially for smaller fighters as its much easier to hit them. But that is what they are currently working on. And with 4.0 having no shields in NAV is even less important. Ship HP is gone and attackers have to a) down your hull armor first and than b) hit your components directly, which are way smaller targets. Change happens in alpha. Especially when the base game needs basic mechanics and tech.

Hey! Great exploration video! By the way what settings/tweaks you use to get so smooth fps? I got pretty much same rig as you but i get about 35 fps in cities hehe
I hold F4, then zoom out with Page Down, the Numpad arrow down, and the scroll wheel, and also move and tilt the camera a bit with the Numpad arrows and Z+mouse :)
Pro Tip: F2 (maps) while on a station will give you a map that can zoom out and find which stores are present. If you click the magnifying glass icon on the left side of the map, you see the list of levels and areas, with a list of store types...
Hi, Glitched. For your unfortunate incident at roughly the 2-hour point, I have a few thoughts. First, although decoupled is more realistic, when you get into trouble, there's no shame in hitting 'c' to let the onboard computers handle craft stabilization. Second, in situations when you are having control issues, set throttle to zero. The flight mechanics in Star Citizen are not (yet) flight-sim level. Aerodynamics have very little to do with flight right now, so missing an entire lift surface (wing) does not equal certain doom if you play the system they gave us. At zero throttle in coupled mode, you would have regained control. Third, with control established, you would have then set slow speed (<50m/s) and see if you could climb. With hover thrusters keeping you more-or-less stable, you likely could have made a long, slow slog into space, or at least to 11KM of altitude to then QT to one of MT's facilities for repairs. Alternatively, you would have found it easier to touch down with your gear extended. That port side wing structure makes it hard to get onto the ground without exploding. Failing all that, I agree with others who suggested that you missed out on an opportunity to give those of us in the rescue business a chance to help you out. Or to experience some RP with someone with worse intentions, true, but that's the beauty of SC. You never know if the helping hand that answers will then slap you down. :) THEN you backspace.
I usually like to watch your sc videos when I don’t play. But I’m sad today to see you self destruct on purpose neither than playing legit and create a rescue beacon. Making maybe fun encounter and interaction with a kind citizen helping you to go back somewhere to claim your ship.😢. I had lots of nice and fun experiences asking help in same situation as you in this video. Anyway thanks to give us some sc videos 🎉
I really had fun seeing you landing on the top of a mountain, rushing downhill in a car without braking while talking about relaxation and having a glass of champagne. Haha. Imagine sitting back there while spinning through the air. You survided very long. Liked and subscribed
First press F4 to get into third person view, and then hold F4 while pressing the + key, pressing the down arrow key, and/or zooming out with the scroll wheel. I usually do a combination of all of them. :)
I'm listening to the Dresden Files audio book on my phone and full screened the long play on my TV...good combo :) Also the wildlife attack...nice scene!
