Happy New Year Kiddo! Great railfanning history video. That was more than likely built using picks, shovels and black powder. Long before nitroglycerin and then dynamite.
I really enjoyed this video and format, glad to see you branching out and trying different styles. I have not been to the Howard Tunnel yet, but it's definitely on my bucket list. Cool design and history behind it. Bummer that 17 didn't want to play nice; did it think it was an RDC or something?! Still cool to see something come through, and 6076 is a cool loco as well.
Great videography as always. I'm curious to know if the tracks continue anywhere useful or if it just turns into a rail trail for the rest of the line?
Thank you! The tracks do continue north to the city of York, PA, where they connect with the York Railway which connects to Norfolk Southern. South of New Freedom the tracks eventually turn into just rail trail.
