There seems to be a nanite exploit currently, if you sell a module of any sort at a station where your standing is good enough to give you a discount of over 100% the game actually says you're selling for minus the nanite amount you'll get (i.e -232 nanites) and it glitches your nanite wallet when you sell it. I have 2 of my saves with 4.2 *billion* nanites now. EDIT: This has been patched.
abandoned ships have a large white round distress beacon near them, no ball means there's a pilot hiding nearby, don't land and pop another map. It actually cheaper to use your Exocraft radar for ship hunting.
The thing that is missing for me in nms is being able to walk about your ship,i wish you could do some lite customisation to the inside of your ship and walk about in it and have a bunk and a window The game outerwilds has a great feature of being able to plot a course and get up and walk about Correct me if im wrong because i havent played nms in ages The thing about nms is that you can have bases,space stations,cargo ships and so but for me,my ship is my own personal space,its where i would prefer to call home,as an explorer in deep space,the ship is the extension of me
My 300+ hour save was deleted somehow. Steam didn't have it backed up either. Admittedly I hadn't played in months. But after this new update I was ready to get back into it and see all the cool new changes. At first I was a little upset, emotionally damaged even. But then I thought about it, and I can't wait to get started on a new play thru!
Sadly, you can't custom Solar ships. I don't see any ship I could custom that would make me use it over a solar ship. Solar ships are just cool looking to me.
I find it easier to wait for ships at a space station to much moving around... it does get frustrating to try to make the ship look differently i know i seen some looking the same already in game
Tried multiple times in live chat but you didn't see, anyway you can get a lot of ships using the submarine scaning for sunken ships instead of frieghters like in the Omega exp.
I know when I first played this game a few years ago I didn’t care for it much cause my friends wouldn’t play it. However started playing again about a month ago and love the updates so far. I’m on Xbox so I don’t have this update yet… but hopefully with the update they also fix the multiplayer connection problem to network servers when you actually download the game.

I understand that some bugs are kind of trigering for some people, and would be better if it was all fixed at once. But what I got to say is that, for a company that sold the game, and never charged for anything more, and still suports and updates and patch fix the game, after this many years. I don't care at all about the small bugs. I just wonder how the hell they still have money to keep supporting the game. The job they did so far if you compare the game now with few years back, is just amazing for a company that is not even selling DLC's or ingame microtransations. I honestly congrat the entire team that keeps taking care of the game, big or small. Most of the games nowadays would charge you 10 to 20 euros just for the monthy expeditions they send. Only 2 games that keep taking care about the game after this many years is the NMS team, and the POE team. And all they profited from us was the inicial game price. It is something to take in consideration. And yes I know you can still spend money in POE for bank slots and other stuff, but like NMS they send every month a new thing for free, that many other companies would charge you a lot for each of them.
You've played forever. You should know you get upgrades from blowing the freighter up not taking a reward. At least I've never gotten a upgrade doing it. I just blow the thing up and get 3 S class freighter upgrades or 3 bulkheads.

I'm curious about how the supercharged slots are determined when you build a ship. Is it determined at the time of creation? So if I build the exact same ship in the same station multiple times will I have a chance of getting a different supercharged slot layout. Or is it tied to the station or system? Like if I buy the reactor core from a different station and created the same ship in the system where I got the reactor core will the super charged slot load out be different? If not then, we just basically got the illusion of choice and people will be building to a meta setup.
I’ve seen a purple schemed vykeen space station, I’ve equally seen a red one. So I don’t think they’re all the same. Only seen a single purple one though but many other red ones. Purple ones should be rare

I've been waiting for an excuse to purchase No Man's Sky instead of using the XBox Game Pass version, and the fact that the Gamepass version _still_ hasn't updated gave me that excuse. And it looks like the transfer between Gamepass and Steam worked perfectly fine with NomNom. Let's customize some ships!!
I know it’s a bit late but what I do for ship hunting I use my submarine scanner because it only looks for sunken ships meaning that there can’t be a pilot
My standing with the Vykeen is so high that I get a 193% discount on modules. That gives them a negative value and I can't buy any at Vykeen systems anymore, including the Core. Says I have insufficient nanites. I hope they fix that soon.
I am having the same problem at 122% discount. I thought it was a bug cause I have 600k+ nanites lol. Well I hope they fix this. I'm always purchasing upgrades looking for better stats. -(Update) Nevermind, I just sold an upgrade and now I have 4 billion+ nanites and I can buy things again, also my nanites are not being deducted when I purchase something so I guess I have an infinite amount of nanites haha
Finally, with Ship Customization and the Station overhaul, No Man's Sky feels complete. Definitely seems like they're getting ready to call it DONE with NMS and move full speed onto Light No Fire. Excited to see what the future holds!
It's not hard to sell stuff. For you it's easy to just delete money. Ok. Maybe not carry everything you own with you. It's why you have storage. Shocking use storage to store. Your personal inventory is not storage.
You get them during mid-space flights when destroying pirate ships when you do 'Hunting .....' missions. They fill up my cargo slots as I do a lot of this. But I'm going to keep them for now.
Money in this game is free. If money is your problem, you are doing it wrong:) I have the same number of hours on my save and I have almost a billion not even trying to get money. It rains out of the sky.
My standing I only pay 6000 for the S class for the ship class upgrade. Pays to actually play the game and do quest where people like you skip everything.
Hate the new space stations....parking is So far from where ever you need to go. ....just making it hard for ship scrappers or anyone trying to get anything done.
