Exploring the SCP Foundation: Pataphysics - Reaction 

What crazier to think about is that in some canons the foundation has WEAPONIZED pataphysics

So they actually made the writers an anomaly...........neat.

SCP 5999, This is where i die, is a very interesting SCP. It's the Foundation's attempt to kill what they cannot.

if I remember one of the better explanations of this was as follows: Imagine that Stan Lee Writes a new character in the Marvel Comics world. the story for this character is simple, he is a Novel writer. So Stan Lee Is writing A story about a man writing a story. Stan Lee can change the marvel world however he may wish. He can erase something and change events entirely. or can create people on a whim. He can control the actions of every Character inside the Marvel Universe. He is arguably a God compared to the marvel world. That character who writes novels however is exactly the same. That character who writes novels, can do the same to his novels. He can change that novels universal history, create new people, so on. it can be argued that if Stan Lee can control the actions of the Novel Writer, Then Stan Lee can ALSO control the world of the Writers novel with the same level of control that he has over Marvel. The argument comes in that, if We are able to affect stories below us. who is to say that we ourselves are not a story, that there isn't a "Writer" above us who can change our history, our memories, our "Stories", who can change Our universe with as much control as Stan Lee had over the world of Marvel. Who is say that we are not the Novel Writer, and that Metaphorical "Stan Lee" sits above us writing, changing our story as they please. Pataphysics is basically having a high level psyker moment

Ah Pataphysics one of my favorite concepts in the SCP universe. If you want to learn more I suggest reacting to the Exploring explain series video on SCP 6747, though do be warned it’s a part of a series of other SCPs with it being the second part.

Stuff like this gives me anxiety whenever I'm creating characters for a story.

There is an SCP where the Foundation attempts to kill us, the Readers.
