There are many little spoil islands in the Tampa Bay inter coastal waterway. We launched our Gheenoe from the Sunset Beach boat ramp in Tarpon Springs, FL. We drove by many of the islands and got off to explore a few as well. We are hoping to camp on one this winter when the weather is cooler.

We went back to the islands a few months ago and did a clean up. Filled the boat up with trash!

@4:12 some of that trash has been there at least six years. I know the chairs have been there a long time. I think there was also a wrecked kayak hull on that island as well unless someone cleared it out. They are popular spots for kayak campers, though those guys tend pack super light and clean up after themselves.

Hey! I love your videos guys and the energy you bring. I don’t have a Gheenoe but I do have a boat and can relate with your trips. Seems like you guys are always having fun. When I’m older I’d love to do these trips with my Wife. Keep at it guys!

Just North of Pinellas in West Pasco here. Have you guys ever taken a day trip to Weeki Wachi River? It's beautiful there; and most of the time there will be manatees to see. You make a lovely couple; and it's clear in the videos that you're best friends. Reminds me of me & my guy. 🙂 Subscribed.

Thanks for watching and subscribing!! We have both paddle boarded and boated on Weeki Wachee and we absolutely love that river. We have a video of us boating on 4th of July if you’d like to watch. As almost empty nesters, we feel fortunate that we love doing things together.

Kevin Redmile #5 is Horseshoe Island, which is the 2nd island north of Dunedin Causeway. We ate lunch on the East point of the island. The west side of the island was beautiful, but for some reason people thought it was ok to leave their garbage there 😩
