Valparaiso is a city on the Pacific coast of Chile and is known for having music festivals and amazing nightlife, it's a popular tourist destination for many locals in the country

Chile is the southernmost country in the world. "Chile" means "The End of the World" in the Aymara language and also in the Mapuche language. Chile was called "The End of the World" by the Inca Empire and the Spanish Empire and we are the identity of the people of the end of the world syncretically in our Hispanic Chilean mixture, It is our culture in essence, Chile is the southernmost country in the world. #ChileConfinDelMundoTricontinental
Hey Ace! Hope you’re having fun man in Chile, enjoying your vids.. the Statue in the plaza was of Arturo Pratt, naval hero from the War of The Pacific. And the mountains you saw are part of the coastal mountain range, not the Andes. The Andes run parallel / opposite from the coast, inland. Valparaiso has its charm, even if it needs a bit of maintenance ✌️
Dear Leon. I know this guy means well and everything but he obviously does not know much! I think you should always take a guided tour you will learn so much. Definitely take a guided tour in Santiago also!

I was born in Valparaiso and i am so glad that whole of Chile and Valparaiso has now lots of foreigners specially haitians and afro decendants because when they have children with chilean mestizo women the offspring is so beautiful and they are the future of Chile and it,s people too.

The building of the Command-in-Chief of the Chilean Navy (light blue), also known as the building of the Intendancy of Valparaiso, for the first use it was given, is a French neoclassical style building five stories high and an area of 8000 square meters, located in the Plaza Sotomayor of Valparaiso in front of the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique. In 1831, on the site where the building is currently located, the English architect Juan Stevenson designed the first building that was originally used as the headquarters of the Customs of Valparaíso. More than two decades later, with the inauguration of the Customs Building on September 1, 1855, this building became the headquarters of the Intendant.
I'm in Antofagasta, the most expensive city in Chile in the north of the country, I WISH rent was that cheap, for a 3b apt. the minimum is around 400-600 depending on the area, life's really expensive out here 😔
Great videomwhat made u assume people were going home toward end of video , they could have been just like u enjoying. Don't assume u know what people are doing if u don't know them.
"Chile" means "The End of the World" in the Aymara language and also in the Mapuche language. Asado Marino chileno, Parrilla Marina chilena, Machas a la Parmesana, Chupe de Jaiva, Chupe de Guatitas, Empanadas de Mariscos, Porotos con Cochayuyo, Ceviche Polinésico con productos de Rapa Nui...
The chilean guide has good English, but got lost: -- Monument main heroe is Arturo Prat, and not Bernardo O'higgins. -- Santiago never could be to West (beyond the sea) from Valparaíso -- 35:30 -- Those "Andes", that you see, are just clouds and fog.Santiago is behind you. To South Est.
Tártaro Marino de Salmón Chileno, Palta Reina, Ceviche de Cochayuyo, Cazuela, "Cazuela Marina" o Caldillo de Congrio, Sopaipillas, Sopaipillas Pasadas, Picarones, Picarones Pasados, Castañas en Almíbar de Chancaca
The guy didn't know anything, that's the monument to the heroes of Iquique in Sotomayor square, everyone knows that Valparaíso is a city of sailors, and there is always a tribute to the Chilean navy every May 21st, it has nothing to do with the army.
Hi friend!! Nice videos, just an opinion and suggestion for your next videos: The music you use as an intro for this video does not represent Chile, because it is a caribbean dance: Salsa, Merengue, etc, and that music does not represent South cone countries like Chile, Argentina, Uruguay. Typical Chilean music is called 'Cueca' or 'Musica Chilota'.
