I recently went on the trip of a lifetime to Thailand. I was always so busy running my HVAC company that I had never taken the time to explore another country. I knew I had to take advantage of this chance to visit this amazing place.
I had researched the country beforehand and noted that HVAC equipment was an important part of the infrastructure. As an HVAC business owner and industry aficionado, I thought it would be fun to record some footage for my RU-vid channel of the different units in action.
My first day of vacation was spent getting footage from the Chiang Mai airport, where the HVAC systems effectively kept the facilities cool even in the heat. I commented on how the airport's air quality felt fresher than usual. I then traveled to the city and got some footage of rooftop units. As I zoomed in, I pointed out the difference in size from the American models.
Next, I got some footage from a hotel where I was staying. There were multiple HVAC systems in action.
Lastly, I made my way to Bangkok and visited what is probably the most impressive HVAC system of them all. The terminals here have a massive system that provide enough air conditioning to keep the entire place cool despite the heat outside. I also had the opportunity to speak to some of the engineers who maintain this system, and they shared some interesting stories about their challenges dealing with the country's unique climate.
Finally, back home in the US, I was able to edit the footage I took and post it up on my RU-vid channel. I was able to provide my loyal viewers with a unique insight into the wonderful HVAC infrastructure in Thailand, and I was glad to know that more people got to experience it that way.
