One is freq only ,the other is RF power on vehicle adaptor goes higher so cut both best👍

It only goes to 28.305 I think wish it went up to the repeaters mibby there’s a further mod??

@@Massey_Fferguson Hmm yes shame. If it could access 29.6 to 29.7 then during summer Es it might have been possible to access some of the European repeaters. I can get into the swiss one with just 1w sometimes...

There are currently three versions of this radio on the market, two with the same name “Randy III”, one with scan skip one without and no way to tell them apart, and one more recent strangely called Randy II FCC (not to be confused with the old European Randy II). Whoever’s job it is to name them should get sacked.

Bit aggressive comment over a product name mate Basically USA FCC version no expansion if live there! Europe and UK and Export countries can be expanded! It's not that difficult to understand different countries'different regulations, nobody needs sacking 😮 If unsure RTFM of your model 👍
