Dave is my husbands cousin. We laugh at how he pronounces his name. It’s not as fancy as that lol. And yes, he had Allanis M get an A then left her. You oughta know ! That song.. Hands clean …makes more sense when you know that. It’s sad. Bob was a P in my opinion
@Aubri Lauren Diaz Sloan had explained in the Bob Saget video that there wasn't a scene on full house that had them in the shower. And I've owned the full house dvds and can't remember a shower scene either.
Came here to say this. Like I grew up on Full House and I loved them so much. I'm so upset to keep finding out basically everyone is a perv in the industry.
I died laughing 😂 and asking him to do a bid from Full House, I didn’t see the insult in that unless Dave is ashamed of that part in his acting career.
Not to defend Ellen, but she was probably just not going to open a can of worms that will endanger her show. She may have been shocked but hid it to avoid repercussions.
Not defending Ellen or Dave but the shower scene they were referring to is in like the first or second episode of full house when Jesse and Joey are babysitting and have to give Michelle a bath. Joey is in swimwear and has Michelle in the bath with him. It's not just them weirdly alone in there with an adult man. Multiple family members are in the scene. It was weird that they felt the need to do it and probably thought it was a funny bit on the clueless guy trope that was so popular back then (i.e. the clueless dad's and husbands like Tim from home improvement, Homer from the Simpsons, etc.) The very first episode has them changing Michelle's diaper like a bunch of morons and also felt unnecessary. I think that may have been a reference to a bit from a previous show. Ellen probably didn't remember episode 1 or 2 from full house by the time that conversation so she just spun off of what they said to turn it into a joke but the implications were not cute or funny and it was awkward.
Same. They had no use for the reboot. They’ve become successful in their endeavors over the years, and I commend them for not stepping back into Hollywood.
Come to think of it, that is super creepy!! I have a 5 year old, and would NEVER let any of my husband's friends live with us no matter how much I like them.
We need a surviving full house exposé. The one who played Stephanie was a meth addict for years and DJ, her real brother turned into devout Christians. They likely needed that spiritual healing or like Stephanie’s character needed to numb herself to save them from this generational elite curse of paedowood.
@@insomniacat0088 that’s absolutely true. It seemed like they were attempting to but Ellen hushed it up…these deviants need to be called out, shamed and brought to Justice.
Honestly, The Olsen tiwns really were the smartest of the bunch in distancing themselves from that show and focusing on their true passion. They had their own struggles but came out on top.
The sucky thing about growing up into adulthood is finding out many of the celebrities/singers/etc that we all loved or enjoyed as kids turned out to be shady creeps! Talk about turning great childhood memories into moooosh 😭
@Arizona Sunshine Yeah that was crazy! Her name was Rebecca, aka Lori Loughlin. What about Steve Weinger, the guy who also voiced Aladdin? I loved Aladdin/Jasmine so much as a kid. Never heard anything bad about him but curious to know if he isn't the nice guy I thought he was.
Alanis tried to warn us that he was a monster 😩 Edit: I wrote this comment as soon as I started your video. Thank you for mentioning her story. Ugh, my queen. You oughta know 🫡
@@wintermonroe2894 she DID!! You Oughta Know is supposedly about him. She ripped him apart in that song. It’s the best song to listen to when you’re an angry current or ex girlfriend. Chef’s kiss 🤌🏻
@@courtneyboudreau4284you also dissociate too I think, when Ashley say "I don't know if they're memories or old footage" that almost gives one a sad notion that their whole childhood is a blurred memory , I know I am their age and I tooo don't remember a lot of my childhood , never rly did , and it kind of worries me , I come from a traumatic upbringing .prob nothing like the Olsen twins tho :/
Yeah it seems like all of them outside of maybe Candace Cameron have had some type of scandal. However, if I’m being honest I think the only one that was truly a bit creepy was Bob and maybe that was just bc he had a dirty sense of humor. You would think if these guys were truly creepy that the girls of the show wouldn’t still speak highly of them. I was waiting to see when Bob passed away if the Olsen twins would release a statement bc had they not I felt like that would of spoke volumes, but they did. I’m thinking the children were treated like performing monkeys or that’s how they felt but I think that was done to them by the people working on the show not the cast. Until they write a tell all book we likely will never know. I’ve listened to Jodi Sweetin’s interviews and she always spoke highly of Bob, John, and Dave. Idk 🤷🏼♀️
Thankfully.. they weren't actually men in you're life. They were part of what we now know (thanks to the Internet and reports like this) is a corrupt world. HOLLYWEIRD!!! The more that comes out the more we see that the industry is disgusting.
@@AmberCraig1 Sadly these creeps exist outside of Hollywood too. There are stories everyday, they just don't get the kind of exposure and spotlight the celebrities do
The gag is that this show has BEEEEEEEEEN uncomfortable af!!!! You mean to tell me you can write a show about ANYTHING and you write one about a bunch of men with a bunch of little girls??? And those adults weren’t going to have big people problems they brought along with them??? Weird af!!!
It wasn't funny but around that time there was a big thing around the battle of the sexes. Females were so emotional, dramatic, and confusing while guys were manly, but clueless especially when it came to understanding women or doing anything remotely domestic. The woman was always the damsel in distress with anything "handy" the guy was clueless with kids, cooking, or cleaning. They also had this common trope of females having this control of men with just a wink or a smile and the guy suddenly couldn't talk or think straight and was helpless to resist her "powers". They probably thought it was comedy gold to see 3 men taking care of girls who they could never possibly understand and bumble through domestic things like caring for a house or baby so we could all laugh at their failed attempts. It obviously worked for the audiences of that time but as time went on and more things came to light the younger generations have more information and they do not find those stereotypes and humor funny any more (thankfully)
I can’t imagine having my daughter on set (Full House) with these 3 questionable men. Those girls were so young and at such vulnerable ages. Wow. Crazy! I used to watch Full House as a kid. I’m the same age as Jodie Sweetin. I bet Alanis wrote that song about Dave. A 33 year old man can wreck a teenager! Sick!
@@curlywurly4187 not to be rude but did you not watch the video? There's a sizable chunk about it. They dated when he was freshly divorced and 33, she was 18. She wrote "You Oughta Know" about it (allegedly).
a lot of people these days say “uncle Joey” but the kids never called his character “uncle” on the show they just called him Joey, cause he wasn’t their uncle. Uncle Jesse actually was their uncle
That was the first thing I thought when I saw the title. Uncle Jesse was the girls' mom's brother, but Joey was just Danny's childhood friend and they just called him Joey. It always irks me when people call him Uncle Joey.
They indeed called him "Uncle joey" sometimes... Often people have their close best friends be a uncle/aunt to their kids, and that was the point. They did call him Uncle occasionally, but even I call some of my aunts aunt ___ & some I just use there first name. Not everyone calls even an uncle or aunt that all the time.. But they did call him Uncle joey sometimes..
i know right? the news reporter in the intro tripping lol. he was just joey, although an honorary uncle…it isn’t apart of the character name but anyway what a bunch of creeps
When I was younger my grandmother hated Full House. She always said she didn’t trust the grown men around the young girls on the show. She especially didn’t trust Bob Saget because of a lot of comments he made about children in his jokes. I see why she had such a distrust of this show in general.
@@fioregiallo I mean, season 1 when they were both helping take care of Michelle especially the tub scene especially when Jesse starts singing and I believed grabbed Joeys face could possibly be why you thought that. That or when they both try to feed Michelle the baby food, when they both were putting pajamas on Michelle, etc.
Guys, can we talk about how talented Sloans audience is? Seriously! Look all of you! Making art, candles, soap, you name it! I love this! Thank you everyone for being so amazing at what you do! 😍😍😍😍
Sloan LFG!!!!! I’m all about this content. Thankfully more people are waking up. I’m so over the era of everyone worshiping celebs. Hollywood is a sick dark place. Thank you for sharing truths. ❤
My dad was a functioning alcoholic, it took him to be married to another woman who was also an alcoholic realizing he needs help. He’s a lot better now, he just smokes his weed ❤️ and his wife is also sober now too ❤️
@jessicasmith5728are they supporting their addictions with money from the government? That's horrible. I am saying this as a long time sober drug addict who just got approved for social security benefits
Sloan really isn’t scared to call out anyone not even Uncle Joey and rightfully so! This is disturbing and I’m glad he’s bringing it to light more than it was before!
ellen may not have outright said she was uncomfortable but her body language did. It's like it immediately became defensive when she crossed her leg and slid back a bit. It seemed like she knew it could be trouble for her and the show
First time I've been so early. Btw, I love your videos. I'm Colombian and a lot of friends here in Bogota love your content, if RU-vid doesn't support you, we will follow you in every platform that receives you.
Dave came to my college in lil ol' Menomonie Wisconsin. He went to all the bars and was disgustingly drunk and sniffing lines all night with the whole bar. No one was impressed
Those 3 men were ALL AROUND those little girls. That’s so sick, and I have always felt bad for the Olsen twins. I can only imagine what Jodie and Candace went through that they’d never share. I recall Jodie having severe problems growing up, which she has moved passed, but it always leaves a scar. I give Coulier credit for getting sober, but any change won’t magically take back what happened. Also, not having an age gap relationship is an achievement these days.
There goes my childhood! Full house was my favorite show.😢 had no idea about Alainis either! Sadly these stories have become apart of everyday life in Hollywood.
Hollywood is a big horrible lie! Whenever there was a tv show everyone loved, wholesome, cute, family oriented... I found also what happened in real life, with actors, or behind scenes and it was always horrific! Behind all that cuteness, wholesomeness, and even glamour, is always some horrible, painful darkness. I can't watch anything anymore without thinking about it.
In my 20s I worked with a woman who was involved with him at an age that would definitely be looked at askance now. Allegedly. I remember her telling me about it, with what passed for receipts back then. This was over 20 years ago and we just didn’t have a platform for addressing these things, or any idea of what to do with them. She’ll never come forward and it isn’t my alleged story to tell. But I’m glad he’s being called to account now.
Just wanted to say thank you sloan because of how clear and calm you narrate the info in your videos! It really helps for people like me who aren't used to hear people talking in english as its not their main language
I went through childhood sexual abuse and I always had bits and pieces of memories but the full story was missing. I went through something called TRE where I had flashbacks of the parts I "forgot". It's really your brain trying to protect you from the trauma.
There actually is a an episode in season 1 that could maybe refer to what Ashley meant, but she was a baby so I can't see how she could remember that. I don't know if there are any more since I never watched the show past season 2. It's season 1 episode 3 if anyone's interested :)
@@sweetnsoursassy Yeah, but this was for those people who weren't aware of this episode and therefore might have believed that something inappropriate going on :)
Damn, okay, so my read on that creep (I thought all 3 guys came off as creepy/sleazy/red flags) as a young kiddo watching Full House was…accurate. And Dave Coulier, to this literal moment, has always made me uncomfortable enough that my skin feels like it’s crawling. I had literal nightmares about him as a kid. 😢
I think it’s really sweet that you actually link the people’s shops when they send you something. There’s a lot of creators that say they’re going to but don’t. I commend you 😊
Really detailed analysis of the psychology of apathetic predators and the effects on victims. I am going through a creepy stalking by an older man twice my age right now, and this is like therapy to me as I don't have a family to help me afford a therapist or any income due to my trauma to afford real life therapist until I earn my way up to afford one. Awesome channel
I used to also watch Dave on a show called " Out of Control " before the full house days..And Alanis was on "you can't do that on television". Maybe they were one of the first Nickelodeon inappropriate romances..
I remember Dave Coulier on The Surreal life and he seemed like a good dude. He even stood up for the Olsen twins when Jordan Knight was talking about how hot they were Dave got upset and said he’s known them since they were babies and that they’re like daughters to him.
A 33 year old dating an 18 year old is troubling on its own. If it was a 33 year old woman and an 18 year old man it would be all high fives and atta boy. Doesn’t make it okay. As I’ve gotten older I’ve become increasingly disgusted with these age gaps. I am 42, and to me at least, any woman under say 30, seems like basically a child. And that is how nature works. Or is supposed to work. When I was 18 I would get perplexed why older girls/women saw me as a kid. I understood as the years passed. We are meant to date/marry people in our age range. Sure there’s exceptions but overall, in most cases, a 18 and 33 year old don’t belong together.
As a teen I crushed on Coulier because of him being my favorite voice actor of Peter Venkman on the Real Ghostbusters cartoon. I’m in my early 40s now and learning my favorite performers have serious issues has become a regular occurrence.
That last clip was brutal… But it’s amazing how we growing up watching this show and think this is so great and wholesome but behind the scenes things were toxic and highly sus…know how Hollyweird is I would never subject my child to that sickness…
Im just sad for humanity. These kinds of creeps are everywhere. Your schools your streets your TVs your radios. They are broke they have money they are nobodies they are famous. This world is just so so so freaking sad
I cried when you opened the Bunny merch. I have a dog and I could imagine what you must have felt when you saw the picture and mug. AND my doggie does everywhere with me too.
In an age where youtubers employ stretegic skepticism. I tend to believe Sloan only makes honest mistakes and he does things the right way. You see it done poorly and lazily so often. Big likes.
First, great video on Weird Dave Coulier! Second, those Bunny gifts were next level, OMG!! You KNOW you're loved when you get personalized gifts like THAT!😍🙀🤩🐶🐩🐕
As an adult, it’s crazy to think what was going on behind closed doors. I use to love this show as a kid and watched it every night. Now as an adult, just look at everything that has come out? I wouldn’t wish Hollyweird on my worst enemy.
I just want to point out that the “Coulier on Coolio” segment was done by Nathan Fielder and dead-pan cringe is kind of his whole thing. I wouldn’t hold that one against Coulier since it very well could have been planned to go like that.
My dad was 20 years older than my mom, she was 19 and he was 39 when they started dating and my dad loved and cared for her and me and my siblings, I had the best dad ever so the age gap doesn't matter unless they are a minor
Look at our beautiful Influencer SLOAN dropping incredible video after video while searching for the truth and not being afraid of ANYONE!!! My wife and I have been praying for you and the personal situation you are dealing with daily. We all love and appreciate you and all you do so very much…
Finally you‘re Talking about him! He was the First of the three giving me creepy vibes! I‘m Wondering what the olsens don‘t Talk more about what Happened on set ... in a mee-too/ Jeannette mccurdy /Alexa Nikolas -style... I think their stories would be soo valuable A Video Suggestion: can you make a video or a series about addiction in Hollywood ? Like why is everybody falling into drugs, the Main reasons, the Main types and the tendency to keep addiction secret
Joey wasn't one of the girls uncles on Full House he was Jesse's roommate/radio show cohost before he became a ventriloquist on a children's show. Jesse and Joey moved in when the mother was killed by a drunk driver when the girls were aged 10 years old 5 years old and 6 mos. then Jesse marries Rebecca and has twin boys Nicky and Alex who share a birthday with Michelle
Wow that’s insane. As a 33 year old woman I could never see myself dating someone under the age of 25 and even that is pushing it. I mean I’m happy engaged but I’m just saying. 23 & below to me is still a child. I know 18-23 they’re legal adults but to me I still consider that age as “kids”
When Sloan does that side hair slick, you know that he’s terribly cringed. 😬 15:45 Thank you for everything you do. It’s not easy sharing this kind of information.
@@mo_amour22 I actually read about that one time! And I also actually remember that too! But I had no idea that she had to do some time in prison for that!
As someone who is now sober from alcohol like Dave, people always like to forget the things that alcoholics have done when they were using. Being an alcoholic around children is not a good mix and there was bound to have been some shameful shit that he did while using. Trust me. Just because someone will admit they’re an alcoholic does not make them a good person. This is coming from an alcoholic who did shameful things and is not a good person.
The situation with Dave seems shady- but the interview at the end was strange.. Dave let the guys in his home- they could’ve at least been respectful under his roof!
I always knew he was weird because I grew up listening to Alanis Morissette's album "Jagged Little Pill" lol. I remember when "You Outta Know" would play and she would sing "are you thinking of me when you fuck her?" but my dad would turn it down to bleep the f word out lol. 😂😂 and of course that song was written about Dave. You can tell he did a number on her, so I always felt something so seriously off about him. Please do a video on Alanis!!! Her story is so sad...that whole album is amazing and makes me cry!
