from my barebones understanding of it, the duel arena was a specific instance created by jagex which was argued to be an unlicensed casino whereas deathmatching is the players themselves creating the opportunity so therefore not on the behalf of jagex. from my perspective, it seems that jagex is ok with it since they even implemented the duel arena in the first place, but to save their own skin in court, they had to remove it.

I remember stumbling upon you back when I was a RS3 player. Didn't vibe. When I moved to OSRS it was a huge switch and your videos, particularly on bossing, have been some of the most helpful things ive experienced in any game to date. It's very simple, explains and shows stuff precisely, doesn't overload you with 50 different stupid facts and it's watchable as a video and not a business meeting slideshow. It's got the perfect amount of info and humor and you're one of 2 runescape youtubers i'll actually watch the other being Hanannie. Keep up the good work.

you must be the 1% that get flagged,caught. Legit nobody ever gets banned for buying and even selling reasonably hard to get banned unless you do huge amounts consistently.
When it comes to RWT on a large scale it's just a constant buying and selling and passing off to make half a penny a mil. The bans are imminent and they know they're coming which is why they use low value accounts. You just hope you don't get caught holding the bag when the ban hits. The end consumer is almost never punished.

Something that has always seemed odd to me though is in the initial conversation between bikers & I believe it was mod ayiza the mod stated something to the effect of that the ban was for trading hundreds and hundreds of mils of gp across a few accounts. Do you think it’s possible/likely that the ban was actually for stuff that we don’t even know about/ have evidence of(Straight up rwt, gp for $), and may not even be related to the rank situation? (Which is still in fact def rwt)

I don’t know RuneScape. I absorb information. Oda Block is the best OSRS PKr player of all time. I watch him for years seeing how much his GP fluctuates. BTC after the dual Arena came out and became this huge public bank account. OSRS has probably had more money laundering than any other game ever, corruption and natural crime.
This whole situation makes you respect Kemp Q so much more. When he got caught doing RWT, he accepted his ban, appologised for breaking the rules and even made a new content for a new main called playing runescape properly. The title itself is a little jab at himself for breaking the rules in the past. He didn't try and use his status as a content creator to get special treatment.

Dming is not a thing. It’s literally pking but with more risk… it’s impossible to stop it and shouldn’t be stopped at all. If people want to fight eachother risking billions, who are we to tell them they can’t do it? If you want to risk your money you are free to do so and you should be free to do so. Also it’s not ruining the economy at all, the money being “dm’ed” is already in the game, it just changes owner. Real world trading on the other hand is an issue, but it can’t be solved by removing dming or making dming banable. They will have to find other solutions to counter this problem. Anyway, is there is one thing history learned us on runescape, rwters will always find a way, no matter what jagex does.
