As a cardiac RN. I was horrified to see that most of my older patients were prescribed a calcium supplement and never given magnesium and K-2. We get enough calcium in the average diet, but D3, magnesium and K-2 are needed to protect the bones and keep calcium where it needs to be. I was only too happy to toss the big hard to swallow calcium pills in the trash when my patients protested them…my concerns were met with smirks from the docs…hence I don’t listen to many doctors. This doctor is worth listening to, imho. But, like I have said, Dr. Mercola, who is denigrated by mainstream medical folks, has been teaching everything said here for over 20 years. I always take K-2 with my D3, and I take magnesium and selenium, but no calcium.

@@bartrobinson2103 you are right about doctors not knowing much about nutrition and vitamin supplements. The pharmaceutical companies hate that we are getting savvy with this and are currently attempting to buy up all the supplement companies, and they want to get rid of or heavily limit the use of supplements. You can’t sell your toxic drugs unless the public is kept unhealthy. I have recently started looking into making my own remedies with herbs and weeds found all around us…for free! For example all parts of Dandelion is beneficial…contains vitamins A, C, K, E, folate, magnesium and potassium. It contains fiber, antioxidants and helps with blood pressure, diabetes, inflammation, increases immunity, plus many others. And all from a weed we try to kill. We need to outsmart those who are hurting us. We can do this!

Wow. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 38. I'm 61 now, and told my doctor about a month ago that I needed to be on K2. He had never mentioned it. He did tell me, eventually, not to take Ca supplements. But my low fat diet since age 18 is probably what put me there in the first place. The advice we've been given for our "health" has been exceedingly destructive. I don't even trust the healthcare system anymore, and I was a nurse for 28 years.

Get your calcium from food only. Green leafy vegies, canned/fresh wild caught salmon, prunes, take D3/K2 daily, work out with weights and walk with a weighed vest. So important! Research Barbara O'Neill. I also take a crystal of Celtic salt in the AM with a glass of water - the minerals the bones need. It's not just calcium.

Then they corrupt everything from air quality to the very soils micro biome, the water and the waterways… it’s all an on purpose circus and we all have to absolutely UNSUBSCRIBE from every aspect they and thriving upon while poisoning the human race and Earth. Even the actual vitamins now. The best vitamins companies were bought up by Nestle corporation. The CEO of Nestle said that he does not believe that people should have the right to water and they do not need water and drains lakes and water sources and sells plastic bottles of it. I remember being diagnosed with osteoporosis and my physician throwing prescriptions at me. I began to research and discovered that along with calcium and Vitamin D, K2-M7 was also recommended. When I told my family physician, my gynecologist and physician and staff who were specifically treating my osteoporosis what I had learned, every single one of them acted like I was a reckless moron! It’s refreshing and a bit rewarding to see only a decade later this becoming more recognized. Finding data for dosing isn’t easy though so we have much to still do, but praise for progress and videos like this ❤

My Endocrinologist who treats my Osteoporosis, told me me doesn’t really agree that K2 helps put calcium where it belongs, in the bones.!!! He did increase my Vit D3 intake as I was very low. No doctor ever told me I needed D3 with Calcium supplement so for 20+ years I was only getting what might have been added in to the Calcium pills! He’s very happy for me to go back on Statins and to stay on Calcium supplement for Osteoporosis. I find iimyself wondering if the high dose of calcium I have taken for the past 20 years is partially responsible for the atherosclerosis seen in my CAC test.

If you want k2-mk7 dosage tests check pupmed for Japanese natto trials, they have been at it for a very long time and their public research is credible compared to the west. I eat 10g or so natto a day for about a year now (as cheungukyang which is awesome in savory sauces) which corresponds to about 70mcg k2-mk7 but according to the Japanese it is hard to find adverse effects at far higher doses. My BP is 18 points improved in a year and finger/toe and knee joint pain is completely gone and backpain so much better. How is your k2 adventure going for you?

No . These doctors are lying. This is all caused by dymorphic yeast. The plaque is dymorphic yeast waste( poo). It also causes tooth decay and plaque in your teeth. 24 /7 heartburn meds use azoles. Azoles are antifungals. Not proton pump inhibitors. Proton pumps are yeast buds putting of phytochemicals ( its waste, poo) and gasses, like making grain alcohol (phytochemicals, the acid of acid reflux) and baking bread. Bread rises from yeast waste. Yeast farts. Same thing as acid reflux/ GERD.

People will say it's money. And it might be in some cases. But I happen to think most doctors didn't get into their fields to harm patients. So I believe it is down to ignorance. And a big part of that ignorance is that leading medical organizations such as the AMA etc, are the ones that set the agendas and recommendations for doctors. Many doctors are quite busy, and so they rely heavily on the information from these medical bodies and journals to guide them. They might not have the time or desire to chase down this information themselves. As well, if they were to "go off the plantation" themselves instead of following what the leading medical licensing boards, journals, etc tell them is "teh science and recommended" items... they can leave themselves wide open for lawsuits. So they don't feel confident enough to do that, and instead fall back on what they're told. That's why many of them truly don't know about chemical, hormonal, or natural connections surrounding health issues. I've had good doctors of mine, literally tell me to "stop talking. don't tell me what you are doing" when I was able to actually drop a significant amount of weight, improve many blood markers, and be generally healthier than before by doing low-carb/keto and fasting. I was surprised because I thought they'd surely want to know what was working, so they could consider it for other patients in the same boat. They KNOW whatever it is I've done IS working, but they are unwilling to acknowledge it because then they'd have to admit what they are being commanded to prescribe is a farce. And most doctors simply don't want to be put in the position of having their career ruined, licenses revoked, if they step out of line with what their governing bodies tell them to do. It's a mess that starts from the top.

Where is the profit after he recommends you to eat more fermented food? Nowhere. 🙌🏻 I love this gentleman!! My late mother was prescribed blood thinners when she was in her 60’s. She was told to avoid any vitamin K rich foods. Having a strong will and perseverance, she followed her doctor’s advice rigorously. Over the next years, she developed several diseases, which I am now convinced, were caused in part due to a vitamin K2 deficiency. In the course of 5 years, she suffered back, arm, and hip fracture (twice). She was also diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. She passed away last summer, aged 76, from complications during her second hip replacement surgery. 😢 R.I.P. my sweet mom. 🙏🏻 Thank you, doctor Jamnadas, for sharing this precious knowledge and educating us, so that we can take control of our health. 🤲🏻

you should also look into nattokinase (also from fermented food with high levels of k2), but it's an enzyme that also dissolves fiber. Serrapeptatse, lumbrokinase, also are helpful. Doctors say that k2 cannot reverse what already happened, only prevent. But people taking the nattokinase, lumbrokinase enyzmes alongside k2 are reporting complete reversals in their calcium deposit levels in tissues. Also, the correct dosage for mk4 is 1g - 15g per day. Mk-7 is 100mcg, mk4 is over 1g. Most companies who make k2 have no idea that mk4 needs to be dosed high.

This is so good. I love listening to Dr. Jamnadas. He explains things so well. Most cardiologist doesn't understand this. I've been supplementing with D3/K2 for two years now. I discovered this on my own and now we see all this good content on it. I took an independent preventative test and received a high calcium score over 400. I called my niece, a nurse who is an expert on diets and natural treatments to reverse morbidity, especially with heart patients. I changed my diet immediately and started taking K2 from my own research. What Dr. Jamnadas says about food is spot on. I went to a cardiologist who said the calcium could be on my heart and not in my arteries. I've never had any heart issues before. I took a stress test and passed it no problem. I had already lowered my cholesterol 30 points with just diet by then (3 months). I already exercise in the gym 3 times a week including HIIT routines. I've never had any heart pains from my physical exercise. I elevate my heart to the 170s at times with no pain. So no further test have been conducted. The cardiologist flat out out told me I could not reverse the calcium accumulation (not in my arteries). That is a provable lie, and he never recommended K2. Who knows how many people these doctors are killing through willful ignorance. I told him heart disease ( I don't have it) and arterial calcification can be reversed and he said it couldn't. So folks, you have to do your own research and take your healthcare into your own hands. Unfortunately most doctors aren't that good and certainly won't help you stay healthy.

When the video started, he said we are eating "low fat" diets. A few years ago USDA released a detailed report about food consumption in the US, population level. It revealed that fat consumption greatly increased in the US since 1970s and in fact accounts for the greatest increase in calories percentwise, much higher than the increase caused by increased sugar consumption. He is basically assuming that just because the advice was to eat low fat diet, that's what people are eating without looking at the actual data about consumption. And then he takes hypotheses forward using that assumption. Not a very good sign of being educated enough to understand correlation. Smoking rates have been constantly increasing in many countries in the world while the official advice is to not smoke. When you have to study correlations, you will look at the actual amount of smoking in that society rather than assume that smoking is reducing because the advice is to not smoke.

@@bhojjadamotabanda If you are going by one study only, then your information may not necessarily be valid. Low fat diets have been pushed on people and have caused harm because they are not a normal and healthy diet. The low fat foods that people consume can be mostly processed foods - but as long as the label says “ low fat “, most people accept it. It is a matter of a healthy diet versus “ low fat ( processed foods ) “, foods from fast food restaurants, eating too many calories of any food. This is not as simplistic as the report you are citing makes out. You have to do an in depth study involving different outcomes. You would have to do a great deal of research on your own.

I have been studying the relationship between Physicians and Pharmaceutical Companies. There are Doctors who receive kick backs for prescribing certain drugs from certain Drug Companies. These doctors are individuals who have made a choice. Ask them if they make extra money on the drug they are prescribing you? You can ask. Ask them if they attend dinners and talks put on by that certain company? The medication may be fine for you, but you do have the right to check how your doctor is running the pharmacological section of his practice. And ask your Pharmacist about your drugs. He knows a lot more than your doctor. You don’t have to just refuse any drug for this reason. It may be a very good drug for your condition. But it would be to your advantage to have as much info as you can on your physician and his practice to determine if he is an ethical person. Many, many doctors do not engage in this type of practice. And some that do are excellent physicians. Just be aware.

Big pharma CEOs are billionaires. They get all of our $$$$ from sending out their salesppl to push their pills on the patients--you & me. Simple as that. These drug company CEOs realize that many ppl put a lot of stock into ppl wearing white coats, like doctors. Always research before filling a prescription what the side effects are & just Google "adverse effects." It can be very educational. Many years ago, I was suffering from migraine-like headaches on a regular basis. Unable to stand a recent headache, I headed to my Urgent Care facility. There after telling that Doc what my history was, he took an X-ray (unnecessary X-ray) and gave me a sample of a drug he had on hand called Bextra. Fortunately, I would find myself the next day, still looking for relief and in another ER. The nurse took me in to see the doc, asked what drugs I was given so far. I pulled out the unused Bextra. She seemed concerned. She asked me who the doc was that gave it to me. She kept it. Later, I got home and Googled the drug. Talk about a close shave! Bextra was recalled and had numerous lawsuits files against it's use. Just because these ppl wear white coats doesn't mean much anymore to me. I do my research on everything now. It can't hurt.

I follow this doctor like a religion. I've been taking K-2 for years. But prior to that a doctor told me to take calcium supplements and I got osteopenia in my spine. I stopped the calcium, started the K-2 with D-3, lifted heavy weights for exercise (and walking or the elliptical) and had another scan after adding K-2 and stopping the calcium... now no osteopenia! Thank you, thank you for this much needed information. I'm almost 60 and don't want to have a heart attack like my mum. I have been taking a D3 and K2 supplement, plus I use Magnesium to alleviate anxiety and it is all working for me. Thank you for going beyond the pharmaceuticals. I am only 57, but had a preeclampsia geriatric pregnancy that also involved gestational diabetes. Fast forward and I have developed Type 2 diabetes, although being a healthy weight, and high blood pressure. I think some of it came from sitting around a lot while taking care of an elderly ill parent. There was a lot of "Let's watch Matlock" and I was there to take care and keep company. That was my love and my duty. But I am still young and looking for answers to help me. I have been doing strength training as well.

A few months prior the doctor told me my bones were weak so I decided to take calcium and D3. About three months in now I can barely walk. I’ve always been overweight so I didn’t think that was the cause. I reminded to what was new in my diet. The calcium supplement was it. I stopped taking it and started taking vitamin k2 mk7. After stopping the K2 the clot dissipated over the next week. I decided to try with K2 again and another clot formed like before. Once again stopped the K2 and the clot dissipated. In addition, research showed that a "daily aspirin regimen" was ineffective at preventing heart attack as originally thought. Has the medical guidance changed? no... Have they updated the aspirin bottle to say Risks include increased chance of MACD? no... Is there still a Billion dollar "daily aspirin" profitable business that cares not what the science says that runs commercials "Talk to your Dr. about a daily aspirin"... Those commercials are as much aimed at Dr's subliminal minds as it is yours... (no, Dr., you didn't see any research that shows that not only is a daily aspirin regimen ineffective at preventing heart disease, but it will likely cause Macular Degeneration to the prescribed cohort.) Look all the groups that never go to the doctors and never have prescriptions and they live till late 90s, 100s with zero physical and mental disabilities. There are some good doctors out there. I had one for almost 30 years. Should I not take a supplement for my thyroid gland, for a condition that came with pregnancy? Or what about Post Partum Psychosis and later Post Partum Depression after two pregnancies? There are people who would die without medication. You are obviously not one of them, at this time in your life. But what the future holds for any of us is uncertain. I know people who have adamantly refused any medication and are now suffering the consequences from the conditions they had. They didn’t “ believe “ in medication. U r extrapolating the video , on urself he is stating as correlation rather than causation , assuming people were on low fat diet ( in reality all were on high fat frm fast food ). Calcium gets deposited only on necorsed areas aka ' dystrophic calcification ' , if u hav not damaged endotheium in first place , why would calcium even deposit? If u hav normal calcium levels , why do u take calcium supplements?? Vit K 2 may help as he stated --mmp , in dystrophic calcification .

It caused me to be tired and not learn as well or as quickly as others, but doctors told my mother that I was, "the laziest child he'd ever seen" and later in school, the teachers said I was "easily distracted, slow, and lazy". His and the teacher's opinions and projections caused me many more health problems because he and the teachers made my mother believe untrue and damaging things about me. As an adult, I went from one doctor to the next, trying to get help, but they all just put me on antidepressants that never worked instead of checking for THE MOST COMMON disease in the US and UK, called CELIAC. If you have Celiac, it doesn't matter what vitamins you take if you don't cut gluten out of your diet. Celiac does not allow any nutrients to absorb. Get tested even if you don't think you have it. Having things stacked against you from birth is all about epigenetics, how our environment dictates our health via mitochondrial DNA before our nuclear DNA does. The environment of our ancestors dictates the heteroplasmy passed down to offspring. The prime environmental variable is light that causes our health and our disease. Days filled with sunlight upon eyes and skin and only night upon eyes and skin is the recipe for health. Dim days out of the sunlight and lit nights is the recipe for unhealth. Sunlight exposure and dark nights is your cure. Dive into Dr Jack Kruse. The trio of talks he gives at Nourish Vermont 2016, 17, 18 are great and found on youtube. 18 is harder to find because he accesses it from his website. He starts out the 18 video by finally being able to publicize his belief that all modern Neolithic disease that allopathy can't cure with pills is caused by blue light toxicity. Blue light in your night. It drives chronic inflammation. He never talks about mold toxicity. I know this is also a huge contributor to chronic inflammation. Sunlight exposure is the first and best cure for chronic inflammation damage. Avoiding blue light is the way to let the cure work miracles via autophagy and apoptosis without creating more inflammation. Sunlight is designed to feed us just like glucose from food digestion. Nobody knows what nutrients are needed when sunlight is prioritized, because studies aren't done with light controlled for.

Giving up beer was one of the hardest things I have done in my life, in some ways I envy those who are diagnosed before they first taste beer, it is good not to know how much you have lost. This is an excellent video. If you add magnesium deficiency in the soil and our diets, plus chemical obstruction of microbial shikimate pathway you will see why we are not properly fermenting in our guts, leading to excess (acidifying) sugars absorbing into the blood stream and a deficiency of K2. The movement of calcium into places it doesn’t belong is a symptom of unregulated sugars fermenting and acidifying where it’s not supposed to. Eat greens, get sunlight, take magnesium, D3 and eat fermented foods.

Not to mention some get irate when you question their treatment plans. I was really surprised at how little they knew in-depth about various treatments. Please watch Dr David Unwin on youtube too. He's a practicing GP in the north of England. His information about the high fat/low carb diet got my Type II insulin dependant (12 years) partner off insulin injections completely, and it only took 3 weeks. He also lost weight without trying, then had to stop one of his BP meds as they were becoming too effective as his BP also dropped. Four years on, he still doesn't need those BP meds or insulin.

Too much D3 can be worse. Remember, D3 allows 20 times more calcium to be absorbed. K2-MK7 activates the proteins to move calcium around the body into the bones and teeth. Without K2-MK7, vitamin D is powerless without it. I have been taking 2400mcg of K2-MK7 the last 2 years with 5000i.u. of D3 and Vitamin A. The 3 work together from the book "The Calcium Paradox." How well? Well enough that my Calcium Heart Score went from 660 to 458 in 20 months. There is no toxicity with these 3 vitamins working together. Further checkout Dr. Thomas Levy's Heart books, according to him. The real heart disease villain is Vitamin C deficiency. I take 15-20 grams in divided doses/day.

Many departments of science have been bought by the drug companies that want to sell drugs.

This is for the older fellas out there. I'm 52. For the last 2 years I've been dealing with Peyronies disease. After finding out what K2 does I added it to my diet back in June. Its now Dec and my Peyronies is almost gone. I have never been a big fan of vegetables & like the doc said our quality of meat is going down. I suspect this had a hand in developing that condition.

I have a gallstone and that is all they've ever found except I was on the low side with Vit D but when you are in enough pain you can't work Something should be found! It's discouraging I just try different natural things trying to get better despite my whole system seems out of whack!

After 2 surgeries (lithroscopies) and several years of visits to the er I started researching and came across K2mk7 which has been a Godsend. Havent had a problem since. I still take d3 and if I go higher like 10,000 iu's a day for a week, I'll take 2 k2mk7. Thank God for the information provided and I hope this helps someone else.

Yup! Also, take boron. I've been taking that for 2 years and my dental health has improved tremendously! Doctor and hygienist were wondering what I was doing because my teeth and gums looked so good last checkup. And all these fad diets are ridiculous. Low fat, low carb, high protein, etc. There are problems with all these things. We need to get back to basics. The problems with our modern diet are more because our food is being poisoned by Roundup and pesticides, and animals being raised in horrific conditions. Grass fed cows and their milk provide retinol, fat-soluble A, which we can't get unless we eat dairy or meat from grass fed cows. The butter also has conjugated linoleic acid in it which is really, really good for our heart! This whole idea that meat and dairy (in moderation) cause heart disease is a fallacy.

Thank you for sharing this information! I am a yoga therapist and functional health coach specializing in bone health. I run functional labs to help my clients get to the root causes of their bone loss and I have noticed that most of the women that come to me are on calcium supplements and vitamin D yet not vitamin K. I run hair mineral tests and I find high calcium levels in the soft tissue. Also, the population I work with has a lower-fat diet and this is having an effect on the digestion and absorption of vitamin D and vitamin K. Keep sharing your information and your experience over the years and the correlation of current research.
